Misdirection is mostly used for removing melee. However, it can be used to proactively remove troublesome dice when the rolls work out that way. Such as removing Poe's dice when they roll blank or resource. We discussed on the show that the main weakness of the deck is that the removal is so heavily dependent and specific die rolls and making sure that you have your dice rolled out before your opponent. |
That makes sense, I didn't think about the option to remove blanks, resources etc. on Poe or Palp dice. Another question: What's your opinion on Your Eyes Can Deceive You and Deflect in Rey/Qui-Gon? |
I wasn't a fan of Your Eyes Can Deceive You when I was testing. It can be a little slow and non-impactful. Deflect can definitely take the place of High Ground. Especially if your meta has a lot of Emperor decks. It's reasonably useful against Poe/Maz too. |
I might try a similar deck in a local tourney this weekend. Will be a bit different because I don't have the same card pool. Two quick questions: If I don't have Echo Base - Hoth is there another battlefield you recommend? Second question, is the key to this deck overriding and getting upgrades on Rey as much as possible to maximize those extra actions? In my testing the deck is just running a bit slow. Thanks! Love your podcast. |

Did you make the deck?
If yes, how useful is Force Misdirection in this deck? Seems like you can mostly remove melee damage with it. Do you need the extra removal with Makashi Training and Guard already in the deck?
