Poro on Mars 19

This deck started as a fun deck with some of my unused cards and quickly became one of my strongest. This guy can hang with the Poe Dameron - Ace Pilot-Maz Kanata - Pirate Queen's and Darth Vader - Sith Lord-Tusken Raider's. The big thing that this deck needs is a good player. You will need to watch for removal, stall for late when you can get your beefy upgrades, and deal as much damage as you can.

Opening hand, it's great to get Sith Holocron, Force Lightning, and Force Speed. These are the fast turn 1 cards that will set you up for a lot of shenanigans. Force speed is really big for claiming the battlefield against the other meta decks. Upgrades, Sith Holocron, and rerolls typically make this deck a little slow, even though you only have one character.

When looking at your opening hand, you really want Doubt, High Ground if you have the battlefield, Isolation, or Overconfidence. Use control liberally. If you have Sith Holocron, you really only need one upgrade to go with it. Anything else is worth the mulligan for good round 1 cards or control.

If you draw into a Rise Again, and you know you can get it off without being disrupted or it being discarded, feel free to discard an upgrade for rerolls. It's better to get a game-winning upgrade attached AND get 5 health healed. Especially something like Force Lightning, which costs 4, it's very efficient to get that on Palpatine - Galactic Emperor and heal 5 for only 1 more.
