This is my current take on Vader/Raider in light of Fast Hands Errata.

Because it slows the deck down, I am inclined to return to Backup Muscle. It's a fantastic card and killing with exact change damage is always nice. It puts no real economic strain on the deck. I'm a fan.

I'm all in on the Holocron suite with this build. Vibroknife of course comes along for the ride as it's too ridiculous to not play here.

Very heavy removal suite with tons of interaction. Some good unexpected damage tricks in Force Strike and Bait and Switch. Bait and Switch is really dumb with Holocron as well as both Tusken Raider (assuming you have the resource for the pay side) and Vader himself of course.

Always interested in constructive feed back so please do leave your thoughts.

Cheers!

I'm not new to destiny but I'm new to the Vader raider build. While I agree the errata slows this deck down, I actually don't think the impact is as severe as it initially looks. All that needs to change is strategy AND you know get 2 extra card slots. Tuskan has an inbuilt fast hands on him. The only die you're looking at "fast handsing" is Force Speed. All it now takes is one additional action to set this up in round 1 then you're good for the rest of the game. Dump vibroknife and makashi on Vader, everything else on tuskan.

The more and more I think about it I think tuskan raider is still going to be stronger than the Vader guard edition that has been rising in popularity since errata.

I swapped out the fast hands for friends in low places. I am a fan of backup muscle but I feel overall it's to slow for this action cheating meta and only works in decks where you are purposely going slow.

My 2 cents.

@ordinaryjedi I think Royal Guard is a better die but Tusken is a better effect. Either way you can build something pretty solid but I think I am still attached to yellow events too much to go flat blue. Seems to me that a lot of the mono color decks end up in the position of having to shoe horn in sub optimal card choices just to make a 30 card deck even with 2 sets now.

I think of this as more "good stuff Vader". I'm shooting for cards that are fairly good regardless of the turn they are drawn while keeping the situational cards to a minimum. I'm just a big fan of consistent over situational silver bullet hosers. The only one I tend to shoehorn in is Feel Your Anger and that's more for reasons of theme and style.

Friends in low places is an interesting choice and something I will most likely try out at some point. I didn't include it in the first draft as the deck should have better things to do with its actions if all is going well.

Also considering working in at least 1 copy of Force Illusion.

I ended placing Unpredictable in for now even though I'm not sure, as it can be a one off Fast Hands I guess.

Store champs tomorrow, running a cheaper suite on mine for the Rise Again.

Having so many yellow cards and no room for no mercy makes me sad. How do you go without it?

@HaggisMchaggis Went 4-0 last night Vs Poe/Maz, Quigon Rey, Leia/Ackbar and Han/Rey. I never felt like I needed it. None of the games were even close.
