14 man Q3 OP winner! Thank you to the store for allowing us to use cards out of the new set.
Some opponents were running a variation of Rainbow 9s and it was a slog against them as you can't do the Nightsister thang. But you have a similar but limited reroll function in Armored Support that worked really well with Captain Phasma's Blaster, Rocket Launcher and Z6 Riot Control Baton to push extra damage on top of the reroll.
On the first iteration (minus Arms Deal) i felt resource limited and struggled if i didn't get a character and Logistics early. But with the addition of Arms Deal i found this really helped to relieve the resource limitation. Despite the obvious loss of a weapon.
The biggest negative on this deck is not having Boundless Ambition... therefore long term, a SoR Rainbow 9s with IQA-11 Blaster Rifle cut for Captain Phasma's Blaster and Doubt cut for Your Skill Are Complete is better. (But will FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper survive in his current form post an EaW rules/FAQ/errata release???)
