My version of the "Brienne of Darth" deck, but with substitutions based on my personal collection. Finished 4th in local Store Championship, only losing to the eventual winner and 2nd place decks. (a mirror match and Darth Vader - Dark Apprentice / Captain Phasma - Ruthless Tactician )

The basic strategy should be clear - you're looking to spawn multiple Vader activations while using Phasma to soak up the damage.

The biggest problem this deck has is generation. While there are 8 die sides that give you resources, It's difficult to get them in the early game, and once you start to get upgrades out on Vader, you're always trying to maximise his .

With low in mind, I swapped out one Praetorian Guard for a Personal Escort with the intention of being able to set up the Phasma Guardian in turn 1 then overwriting in turn 2. A second Praetorian Guard is simply reroll fodder, and if you do get Praetorian Guard out before Personal Escort shows up, then you're only using it for the same purpose. Getting Personal Escort first is the best scenario as it leaves you with 1 resource to mitigate with.

Having said that, I never actually got that combo off as once I had the Guardian, I usually had better upgrades I wanted to play.

Dug in was a very helpful card - with Phasma soaking up the damage, there's an extra 3 shields on Vader for your opponent to chew through.

In hindsight, I only managed to do a double vader activation twice, and both of those were through Leadership. I would probably ditch one of the The Price of Failure's as once Phasma is gone, there's no target for the second.

I would include a second Force Speed if I had one - Vader is extremely susceptible to mitigation, and while Force Strike becomes your star player, you can only reliably get off 3 damage before your opponent will mitigate the second.

Clash was a helpful card, but again, without the Force Speed it was left wide open to mitigation.

I'd probably look to swapping in Enrage to help with the issue, but in my initial build I was too focused on keeping damage off Darth Vader - Sith Lord.

It was a fun deck to play in the "mini-meta" break before Empire at War, but after playing this deck against Darth Vader - Dark Apprentice / Captain Phasma - Ruthless Tactician I feel that is the stronger pairing with its 4 dice.
