Lord.Vader__ 34

This deck has been very successful and wins consistently in casual play. Its also a lot of fun to play.

This deck seems very resource heavy. I'm assuming you're mulliganing for both copies of Insidious?

I agree, very heavy on the resources. Might I suggest exchanging Decisive Blow for Force Strike?

Lord.Vader__ 34

@JohnnyOrigami @mykelen the force strike might be a good idea but I like decisive blow for negating Palpatines dice. I play against a friend who plays Palpatine a lot. It seems resource heavy but most of the die have a resource side and with insidious too I have not had any trouble having plenty of resources actually.

Since you asked for input on FFG forum, my (rather large :D ) 0.05$ You have way too many blanking abilities IMO, its not Inquisitor after all :) I like Immobilize . Its really strong card early game, and great base for overwrites on Vader and mitigate some of the early damage. What i would change:

  • -2x Now I Am The Master - do you really need it? Dont look just on Palpatine.
  • -2x Lightsaber Pike swap them for Kylo Ren's Lightsaber
  • -2x Darth Vader's TIE Advanced its a great finisher on paper but man...6 res in total to use it...? For 5 you could have Rise Again.
  • -2x Anger - its a weird card..it forces you to keep blanks on table. Its good when it pops but too conditional. Dead card too often.
  • -2x Force Push. Special is good, damage is good but you have way to0 many upgrades.
  • -2x Block and 2x Dodge they sound nice on paper but blue have better way to mitigate stuff.
  • -2x Decisive Blow too expensive! I dont imagine how you are going to pay for all that 2 and 3 resouce cards!
  • Add stuff like Doubt - great free mitigation, Feel Your Anger - same you can sometimes remove more than with Block/Dodge (and if you were going blank heavy you should have it in the first place). Overconfidence too is nice. Those 3 (and Isolation) are the staple blue villains mitigation tools. Like mentioned go Force Strike - its a must have card with Vader.
  • Second Sith Holocron and Force Throw - since you are heavy on abilities you need that second Holo. Even more with Guard that has no other way to play those upgrades on himself.
  • Rise Again ? Vader decks started to use it - big heal and free upgrade.
  • Enrage since you are still heavy-ish on hesources add it. Poping a shield or even dealing 1 to Guard is not a big deal if you can get some upgrade on table.
  • Makashi Training another card Vader likes.
