So my version of Riekan Mill. For now only matchup it struggles agains is...ofc: Sabine Wren - Explosives Expert...rest of the decks are usually milled right after Rieekan dies. Card writeup:
- Fearless - free shields, and more cards and since you cards are either mitigation or more shields.... Its the only 2res card in the deck making the deck ultra resource efficient.
- Hunker Down - standard in all Rieekan decks.
- Scout - more focuses for Spy Net, discard from hard.
- C-3PO - reason why this deck works. With both double focuses on you characters and double shields on Rieekan it can turn those into double shields or double discards.
- Spy Net - some people don't include it or include only 1 but for me its a key card with 4 focus sides on your base dices (and 1 on both 3po and Scout) there is really good chance to mill 1 additional card every turn.
- All Quiet On The Front - standard finished for this deck.
- Confidence , Electroshock, Flank, Krayt Dragon Howl, Loth-Cat and Mouse - are your tools to be alive. That combined with your shields should be enough mitigation to live long and prosper :)
- Spirit of Rebellion and Caution aside from your dice are your main tools to gain shields. I usually Caution Jedi's dice as she is almost any time targeted last.
- Friends in Low Places - another discard.
- Determination hah. Black horse of this deck. Basically its just another C3PO play with this. Both Padme and Rieekan got double focuses - so you can turn those into discards.
Cards i did NOT include:
- Entrenched - to expensive. And i usually end up with more shields i can spend anyway.
- Maz's Goggles - pretty good but i simply does not own them :) Scout is great in place of those but they are ultimate upgrade here due to double focus.
- Luke's Protection - i somehow do not like this card. There are equally good cards to gain shields.
- Command Center - Lothal - it should be here huh? Its somehow 2 edged sword. You almost never claim with this deck and if someone picks this to strip you of the shields you may end up milled too. But on the other hand if someone does not know how slow this deck is may pick his own BF and give you shields to initial Rieekan play.
