Sith Holocron 291

Simwi from Sith Holocron YouTube channel here and it’s time for the ultimate Crime Lord Buy Out Mill deck to make an appearance. I have seen variations of this deck recently at events and on TTS and this is my take on it, leaning heavily to cash building towards a Buy Out clause or a one shot Crime Lord to heavily swing things in our favour. Ideally we will always throw Jabba out first. His abi allows a yellow die rr so anything like the 2 discard is great. Any blank on Jabba Errol for sure. Flank is a superb starter as most people still play 2 character decks, so utilise it early when ever you can. Great cards like Chance cube and Hounds Tooth will soon rack up 5e credits allowing you to get either the Buy Out or Crime Lord activated. In the meantime utilise your deck carefully and mitigate as much dice as you can. I have several times went for the kill to simply find that this deck can stop damage coming into our characters by using the two Nightsistsrs action to great affect...4 die Mace roll or 5 die vechile die, sure I will easily take the one damage to force the reroll of that die and will do it again if they are silly or greedy enough to try for extra damage. Friends in low places, electroshock and doubt are superb at die removal, loose ends for a 4 care discard is clutch. Armor Plating and Balckmail all fit so snugly it’s obscene in this nasty and frustrating deck to play against. Be warned ALL the initial attack’s will be on Jabba so use Plating whenever possible. The addition of vibroknucklers is on,y for the 1 cost action of losing an additional card for the discard side. All in all I rarely if ever use the Sisters die to deal any damage, as a mill and cash cow we don’t want to hurt our opponent at all, just bank the cash and claim to make him discard two more cards. Let me know your thoughts below and check out my workings with it on the Sith Holocron channel on YouTube.

There's a really really really good argument for playing a Guavian Enforcer over a second Nightsister, and that's two health are probably better than one single discard side. Plus he has more money sides and still comes equipped with the ranged damage for Loose Ends AND all the spot yellow stuff you have.

While those are all good points, do they trump the reroll for one damage that nightsister brings?

No, no they do not. This style of deck is frustrating to play against. you pretty much just wait to die unless you have a massively fast hard hitting deck that can kill a nightsister in one action chain. Sith Holocron with Mind Probe to free overwrite a Crime Lord is also stupidly powerful idea to try out with this. You would holocron the mindprob onto jabba and roll into play hoping for a 2 discard or 2 resource loss. then overwrite it with crimeboss. Aweful Aweful Aweful.
