Howly 106

Early version of a late-game deck focused on mitigation. Unfortunately, control is difficult to play correctly, so I'm not 100% confident how much of my testing can be related to card choice vs. play mistakes.

The basic premise is to load up GI with upgrades that both deal damage and mitigate dice in order to outpace your opponent once you've each killed a character. It's not easy to set up, but if you play well, the deck will reward you with a stronger late game than most other decks can deal with.

I'll add a more complete writeup later, but to understand most of the card choices you just need to know a few things about the deck. First, you will be terrible at making money. Gamorrean Guard is a massive drain on resources and even if you stick a holocron, you just won't have that many dollars at the end of a turn. Second, if GI dies, you die. The pig and all of your other cards are there to ensure that GI doesn't die first. Use them for that. Finally, this deck's success rate is highly dependent on player skill. Making a bad decision will more than likely kill you, but one good turn may lock your opponent out of the game.

I'm happy to answer any specific card choice questions if you have them.
