My 11 yr old son likes this deck a lot and won a 16 person tournament with a cut to the top 4 using it. He prefers eEzra over eMaz to prevent her from going down turn 1, and enable use of Lead by Example on Maz, where it is most effective. Take your battlefield if you win the rolloff to pay for a discounted T-47 Airspeeder or Y-Wing turn one, and try to get more expensive ships in play with Hera specials or by overwriting a Quadjumper. Roll Ezra first, with his 2 dice to try and steal resources or disrupt. He ends up being the last remaining character in most games, except matchups vs Bala, or damage to all characters type stuff like Thermals, and that's when you're happy to have him as elite instead of Maz. That late game resource steal, or +2 to go with a big range damage is brutal. Fun deck.

A guy in our local store runs a deck like this. Pretty legit deck! Has all the goodies!

Looks like it's got everything except speed. Hit and Run with Lead by Example attached might be a very effective combo. Astromech might also be a nice addition to ensure you are hitting really hard with your vehicles since you are stripping a very good focus die away from Maz. Negotiate and pinned down as your only die removal is kind of scary. I have to think that Aggro heavy decks bring some major pain early. Another trick I've seen is people using Recycle after they bring in a Falcon with Hera, then claim Starship Graveyard - Jakku to pull it back out and play it next turn. Just some thoughts.

It has Honor Guard for removal as well. At 2 cost, I believe Astromech is too expensive for the deck, but it could be fun. I personally like Recycle, but my son does not, and he plays it more than I do. I think I'd probably run Recycle as a 1 of if I were playing it more. Hit and Run is fun, but he likes Draw Attention. I think all those are probably pretty close to the same added value to your expected win %, but can definitely see an argument for building it that way. Came down to what he prefers to run, and how he likes to play, but I definitely tried to talk him into Recycle, haha. Didn't work! Fast aggro decks usually do better than this deck rounds 1 and 2, but whereas their deck gets weaker as the game goes on and characters die, this deck just keeps pushing out supports and gets stronger as the game goes on. If they can burst you down by round 3 or beginning of 4 you just say "good game" but if it's any longer than that, this deck is a big favorite to win.

I actually think doing elite Maz and Ezra was better for me. Fun deck

I testing with elite maz, never regreted it, i also use much more die mitigation than this list (loth cat, flank, eletroshock,) so i normaly can have at least 2 turns of Maz ability (also use hit and run to help) . With Emaz Recycle is a an all star of the deck. The vehicle set is about right

Updated with more removal! Talked him into it, and he really likes it this way. Removed 2x Draw Attention, 2x Logistics, and 1x C-3PO for 2x Flank, 2x Electroshock, and 1x Ghost. Still super fun, but he is considering cutting Lead by Example as it has become the card most consistently discarded to reroll.
