How to play the mighty 3PunchVader:

1) You should aim for these cards in your starting hand: Prepare for War to get rich. This well earned money you want to spend for Maul's Lightsaber. So aim for this one and/or Lightsaber Pull. A small amount of mitigation is useful as well. I prefer Isolation because character dice are what you have to deal with during the first round.

2) Get the cards you want with Maz's Castle - Takodana, Boundless Ambition and Lightsaber Pull. Then pump up Lord Vader with some lightsabers. 4 weapon upgrades seem to be not enough to do so, but with the help of these cards it is no problem to get a weapon out every turn.

3) Steal your opponent's rerolls, mitigation options and keep his turns short with Close Quarters Assault. The ability of Darth Vader - Sith Lord will support you in that.

4) Get more flexibility and keep your turns long with Boundless Ambition.

5) Keep Lord Vader and his support Nute alive with Force Illusion, Clash, Feel Your Anger, Indomitable, Isolation and The Best Defense.... Most of the times your opponent will focus Nute Gunray - Separatist Viceroy anyway because of his annoying ability and low health pool. And this is exactly what you want. But make sure Nute survives long enough so Lord Vader can use him to get into BEAST MODE.

6) Do you remember the scene in the Rogue One movie where Darth Vader enters the spaceship and singlehanded destroys just everything in his way? Of course you do! And this is exactly what you do now: Unleash the 3PunchVader with Leadership and The Price of Failure. Best time to do this is when your opponent already claimed or is out of cards and so just sits around helpless watching his characters getting slaughtered.

To be clear, I don't think this is a highly competitive deck. Just because there are too many dice with too much damage around right now and Nute has to survive at least turn 2. Still, in testing I faced ObiMaz (4-1) and YodaReyPadawan (3-0). But the main reason why this is my most favorite deck at the moment is just: FUN. And even if you only manage to pull off the 3 punch combo in 1 out of 10 games, the cinematic feeling of the mighty Darth Vader crushing his enemies is just worth it. I hope you guys enjoy this deck as much as I do. If you guys know some cards that might fit well in this deck please tell me :)

probably add in another Shoto, and a Crossguard to get the blue weapon ability going.
