lots of healing(16+) and dice mitigation, forget rerolls and just resolve dice as they show. constructive criticism welcome

this deck seems very week to Kylo2. Maybe add more gray cards? Also have you considered the swiftness into alter/UTF combo?

The problem with Rise Again in a Palpatine deck is you will never have 5 Resources. Ever. You'll be lucky to get to 3. That's probably the biggest weakness of Palpatine from my games with him, he doesn't generate resources if you're playing cards to mitigate damage. Otherwise, not bad.

@RebelTraitorr, I agree it would be very weak against Kylo, unfortunately there isn't much of a player base in my area so don't test against as much variety as I'd like

@adran06 I've had luck with saving Rise Again until end game where I've saved enough if needed at all. Again, not a lot of play testing against varying decks.

@RebelTraitor as for the swiftness combos, feel it's a toss up between the resources for the combo or Rise Again#rise. I'm partial to rise again though I'll cycle that combo in to see how it works

@adran06 I have successfully played Rise Again in most games with Palp. Think of it as playing an upgrade and mitigating 5 damage for 5 resources. You can save up resources by playing 0 cost mitigation cards (Hidden Motive, Doubt, Sound The Alarm, Stronger You Have Become) and by resolving 2 sides to prevent opponent rerolling into anything good in the first place. Holocron package works well also, as you pay 0 for upgrades up to Rise Again. Of course some resources will go for mitigation events, but often it´s fine to take some damage in in order to play Rise Again and get a powerful upgrade as a bonus. From Holocron Package you´ll get more mitigation in form of Mind Probe (again a 2 side), Force Push (turn 2 dice to blanks) or even Force Throw (remove any die) - the last one I don´t personally run in Palp deck, but it should work. Palpatine with Holocron package has weakness against Rend, Vandalize and disrupt heavy decks of course, but again - good old 2 sides help against those destructive events.

@flight799That's good and all, but most of those cards aren't in this deck.

@adran06 I was sharing my thoughts how to utilize Rise Again generally with Palp, especially since you said "a Palpatine deck".

Insidious can be good for resource generation, and it costs 1 so it synergizes with Witch Magick...that might help give you more resources for Rise Again more often
