I started working on this deck when I got Wedge's ability stuck in my brain. Playing lots of limited has shown me how incredibly powerful that Power Action is. Guaranteeing the best side on a vehicle is a recipe for victories.

In looking through the characters to go with Wedge, Saw really stuck out. I knew I wanted Profitable Connection to hit a big vehicle early, and Saw's special gives me something to do with the ones I don't play. Being yellow also give's me access to the biggest of vehicles.

Playing the Deck

You probably want to take your opponent's battlefield, but if you end up on yours, keep a running tally in your head of the damage you're leaving on the table by claiming early versus the damage you're going to pull out of the Launch Deck. It's probably worth sacrificing a point or two, especially if it's a Resistance Bomber sitting on a 3, to go first next round.

You want to hit a big vehicle on turn one. With three resource sides and six resource producing card your odds of landing even the mighty Pirate Speeder Tank right at the outset is quite solid. Especially Round One, try to get that vehicle on the table as late as possible. Fight through all of their dice, and resolve as many of your character dice as possible. Sticking even the lowliest vehicle in the deck, Fang Fighter, is a guaranteed 3 to the face with Wedge's ability.

Into The Garbage Chute might seem weird in a two character deck, but you really don't care that much about getting Wedge's die into the pool. Since you can use his Power Action while he's tapped, you will happily give up one 'ok' die to nab their biggest pair.

Finally, if you've got a big card (3+ cost) in your hand that you don't see yourself using this round, discard everything, even rerolling zero cards, to guarantee hitting it with Saw's special. You have enough stuff to do in this deck that there's no reason to hold cards for next turn if you can get 3+ in.
