I just won the BD Cosmos Laval store championship today with this deck. I went 4-0 in swiss, then 2-0 and 2-0 in the top 4. I also finished 2nd with a similar less polished deck at the store champion at Wizard's Tower Ottawa which also happened to have 14 players.

Here's a little analysis of the deck:
Battlefield: Guardian removes a die so you both get push some damage toward Aphra with it and deal 1-2 indirect damage round 1. You're almost never going to claim because opponent doesn't have to spend actions on the dice you remove and you have a few supports. It's one of the few battlefields that actually give you something for playing it. Your opponent is rarely going to leverage your battlefield well since you deal so much indirect damage anyways. When you win the roll pick your battlefield if the opponent plays weapons factory alpha or a mill battlefield. Otherwise take the shields.

Mulligan: You want one droid and/or streetwise in your opening hand. Mulligan all 5 if you don't have either.

General advice: Try to resolve your indirect damage first during a round. Activate DJ last unless he's likely to be defeated this round. Often your opponent is forced to choose which character he brings within reach of being defeated by your direct damage. Between the droids, Aphra and DJ's ability you're dealing so much indirect damage is becomes relevant pretty quickly. You can sometimes surprise defeat a character with backup muscle and/or Relentless Pursuit. It's a great feeling to draw Relentless Pursuit and as your first action of the round you finish off a 2 health character.

If you play against this: Kill DJ first. Keep in mind a few cards to play around them. When you assign indirect damage try not to enable Subdue on a high point character or a character with an important upgrade if you can avoid it. Try to resolve your dice whenever you have an opportunity to. If you have several focus dice available don't use them all at once if he has the 3 resources to play In The Crosshairs. If the opponent has enough to play Reversal don't even roll in a card like Planetary Bombardment. Try to activate anything with a disrupt symbol on it first.

I fckin LOVE it!!! I always have a lot of mitigation in my decks, so i was SO excited when i saw DJ!!! And Dr. Aphra was a love in first sight :D ....Good to know there is a competitive deck with those 2, I will definetely give it a try with some slight changes and let you know how it went! ;)

I play a deck very close to this, but with the addition of Infamous, this I find is particularly powerful as once its in play you can play 2 removal cards back to back.
