Mill has always been a favorite of mine. But to me turbo milling someone is no where near as gratifying as doing it slowly and deliberately. Let me start with saying I think going for cards off the top of your opponents library is a trap and should not be the focus of the deck. Milling out of the hand is your primary weapon in this deck. I tried the Stealthy version as well and found that it was almost too slow and relies heavily on your character dice. For this reason I went with Force Meditation and Scout. Force Meditation is a better card because it does not depend on your dice for anything. I also think Scout paired with Maz's Goggles is far more efficient and helps the primary goal of the deck. Especially so due to the degenerate amount of mitigation cards that are being played at the moment.

The reason I have so many one of's is purely for flexibility I know for some people it can be an eye-sore of a list. Let me explain the lone Podracer. It's sole purpose is just in case you miss Anakin Skywalker's Podracer on the draw and mulligan. I should have prefaced this with you never take a hand that doesn't have Anakin Skywalker's Podracer in it. That card is insane pressure at the start of a game. In case you were wondering I took out a Strength Through Weakness for the Podracer. I am only using one of each Motivate and Commando Raid because I honestly think using two of each is a tad overkill, remember slowly and deliberately. I like Overconfidence over Hidden Motive just because I want the die gone at all costs. Character dice are nasty and often have multiple sides which can backfire sometimes. Easy Pickings, Electroshock and Entangle all have a spot requirement and lets be honest, little ol' Anakin Skywalker - Podracing Prodigy doesn't have that many hit points and therefore can be shut off instantly. Remember flexibility is key to slow and deliberate. Flames of the Past is great against the mirror or Yoda - Wizened Master, Cassian Andor - Rebellion Operative, Anakin Skywalker - Podracing Prodigy. As they are most likely going for Anakin Skywalker's Podracer as well. Which means they will potentially draw into a second and pitch it for a re-roll. I felt that Into The Garbage Chute, while a really good card, is not one that I want to lose an activation for more than once no matter how bad the dice look. Beguile is kind of a loner as its really good but not really necessary, if that makes any sense? Whilst removing one die and fiddling with two others is fun. It all boiled down to flexibility and I felt that I never really get a good use out of this card twice in a game.

You really want your dice working their ever loving ass off as most of your event suite is some form of mitigation. You do not want to pitch to re-roll unless you absolutely have to. Sequencing is very important in a deck like this where YOU are solely in charge of the pace of the game. Now that doesn't mean going to time every game, it can happen and be prepared for a game loss on damage if you haven't gone fast enough. This deck has a sweet spot that it likes to travel at. Play it too fast and you can over extend and its very difficult to recover if you do this. Too slow and you can get the mill engine going to late and that's all she wrote.

This deck is not about decimating your opponents hand but more about making your opponents choices agonizingly painful as every decision they make has to be measured and calculated as you should be getting no less than 3 of your opponents cards out of hand and at least one off of the library every turn. Especially if you have Anakin Skywalker's Podracer on the board. I designed this deck specifically to drag your opponent in to deep water very quickly and then play the attrition game.
