So here is what i played for my third regionnal at ottawa.

After New hamshire with Kylo/Anakin, even if i did well. i Felt that is was not the right deck to compete with vehicule. So after testing i came with this.

At first , my fear was the hp of the team, but Beckett is a sneaky character that can ruins turn and with the ressources you can get , you can always play what you want ...like vaders fist. Vaders fist is so good that is not a secret.

little change before the tournement, i decide to cut wanton destruction and at odds to put 2 back up muscle in it.

so here are my match-up for the day.

1 Ciena/Boba AR

vader's fist close the game. I don't remember much more it was a game that i felt i was always 1 step ahead

2 Vader/ Greedo

Always tough game against Daniel Cassell and this was not an exception. it ended with me playing back up muscle to take the kill on vader.

3 Vader/ Greedo

before talking about the match, i just want to give a shout to Gabriel who has play a great game. I dont know his age, but a young boy piloted vader greedo very well and was also 3-0 at this moment. Sadly for him , i got coercion on his price of failure first action first turn. I don't think he was prepared for this and it cause him a lot of reflexion. After he decide to kill greedo we moved on and finally he played a great match because it ended with me rerolling 1 die of talzin to get the kill juste before i can rise again. Very close game and super excited to play against you again in the future.

4 Lando/Wedge

One game where i was in conrol and where beckett choke him at the start of the round. i was aware that he was running planned explosion because one of my teamate had lost just before and i made a huge mistake when i looked at his dice to count 8 of total value when it was 10. He planned explosion Talzin who was untap when i had overconfidence in my hand. i was very angry against myself , but the game was already in my favor and with vaders-fist in play and back up muscle, i finished both of the characters.

5 Quira/han

First turn i choked him with beckett riffle and i had the battlefield. so he didnt put anithing in play but god roll 8 damages! i had only 1 control so Talzin took 6 damage and after that i punch quira with vaders fist. i finally finish her in the second round with back up muscle but just before he dismantle my back up to save her. Unfortunately for him i had a second back up in my hand. After that, Taking down han was a question of time, and after 2 hyperspace jump to save him , i finally got him.

6 Ciena/beckett AR

i match up that i tested a lot because Nicolas his my teamate. before the match i dont think i had lost against him with the deck. He played well and took his revenge.

Lost

After the 6 rounds i finished top seed and was match against Daniel Cassell again. I knew that my tough match up was againts vader, in my play testing it was the only one wich i had some problems because Vader hit like a truck and Talzin with 9 hp is really hard to protect.

Top 8 Vader/greedo

Me and Dan had already play against each other before. At Gencon we played against to know who would enter in the top 32 and i won the match that day, i knew he wouldnt let me go away so easily this time and he finally got his revenge!

game 1

if i remeber well in the 3 game i played vaders fist 1rst turn and in this one i closed the game with the mvp card of the day ( except vaders fist) back up muscle!

game 2

i tough i had the upper hand in playing vader fist and hitting hard vader but the game turn in the other way when he played FIHP for rise again in a last attempt. It work and vader hit me like a truck to steal me the win.

Game 3

I played vaders fist turn 1 and i rolled nothing. the first round endend with beckett taking 6 damage and vaders full healt with to shield... I made a huge mistake in playing force illusion before taking damage on talzin . After that he decided to go on beckett and a couldnt protect him well. In my head it was finish after the first round, but i made a good return and finally was very close to get vader. both of us wasnt rolling well for the kill and he finally got me, but in retrospective, i know the deck as really great potential..

For those card , i tech them to handle the vehicule and i knew it was some dead card against some deck, but in general the idea was that it can take out the big things. Finally i never used them, not even nefarious deed to transfer damage for a kill. It was dead card that even played against me with talzin.

So here are the changes i will test for the next tournement.

Wanton destruction

i will try this card again because against vader it will give me more that is missing in term of damage and being odd it work well with talzin

It will all be mine

with a lot of agrro , less yoda i think it could be a great card and against vader he cant put back his dice in the pool because its resolve.

another coercion

coercion even when it was not against vader was a good card. i mess with their ressources with it , see the hand ( remind me of thrawn/snoke hey hey) and after that becket deal with what is left.

Another vandalize

if i cut sebulba always win and nefarious deed i will put for sure another vandalize. Other suggestion is sabotage.

In my first try of the deck i was playinf stiffle and i thing a could swap the improvised defense for it. I played improvised defense for the vehicule and dooku talzin but stiffle is good against anything and vader...
