Here's another fun Qi'Ra deck (similar to the calling in favors one I made yesterday, but this time you have fun with an ATST):

The idea here is to get lots of resources as fast as possible, get out an AT-ST and use it twice a turn. Particularly fun is the action cheating with Swiftness and Barrel Roll or Grand Entrance or Partnership. You don't need a lot of dice if you can action cheat the best sides, and ideally you use aggression to take out your biggest threat to slow the damage against your characters, but there are some Streetwise/Hidden Agenda / Hyperspace Jump to help prolong one more turn.

Don't forget that the ATST, while expensive, is also fun against other vehicle meta decks. nothing like discarding Vader's Fist, or a loaded Shadow Caster or Millennium Falcon.

Destiny Deck Analysis 271

Just out of curiosity, why not run the Shadow Caster? It seems like getting the AT-ST out turn one might be difficult without sacrificing your character dice. Also, thoughts on Logistics? Anyways, love the build. Ciena Ree - Adept Pilot is such a powerhouse in the mod meta.

I really like the shadow caster plays and decks, especially with cienna natural Pilot and friends in high places. I’d swap it out or even add it for sure and use it in some matchups. I see the shadow caster as actually less of a budget option when you factor in the damage side costs and card requirements to get mods on it, compared to say an un modded atst, which feels Like the faster budget version of the upgraded shadow caster, (cause its slightly quicker to get high damage sides, but has lower max damage). Remember with rerolls and cards like barrell roll hitting the top or second best damage side consistently can be expected. Additionally with this deck the idea is more resource ramp Than turn one damage, so you do want to get reaources on character dice turn 1 especially the QiRa +2. (If you get the battlefield with the plot you only need two resources from dice or events to hit the atst. Then because of the 6 cost your first claims become 3 extra resources each so you can continue to ramp into mods upgrades and mitigation for turn two. Lastly I love the awakenings retro of the atst (and as I noted above, its special can be devestating against opponents supports in most meta decks).

As for logistics it also works really well with cienna, and wold work as a great option in this deck. I like the consistency of mobilize better though. And extra resource deckspace is a bit limited, if adding another i’d probably pick No Good To Me Dead
