My take on a Dryden Vos blue deck.

As a fan of yellow shenanigans in this game, I immediately loved Dryden Vos as a card, but knew he wouldn't pair that well with anyone. I went with Nightbrother for the partner because it has 11 health for only 10 points (making this a 24 health team,) and Nightbrother opens up all the incredible blue cards (Maul's saber, Vader's saber, Vader's Fist, etc.)

Basically, the way to play the deck is keep 1 upgrade you can play on Dryden first turn and mulligan all the expensive cards back into the deck hoping to pull them with his special ability later on. After having an upgrade on Dryden Vos, then roll out and hope to get massive damage or specials. Make sure you resolve the Dryden specials before you activate Nightbrother, that way if you get to play some free upgrades from the Dryden special, you'll want Nightbrother ready so he can roll those upgrades out for you that same turn.

I'm looking for any advice people might have on this deck, as I'm looking to make it more competitive. Obviously, Dryden isn't incredible and this will never be a Tier 1 deck, but I would still like it to win more games than it loses.

Thanks, everyone!

I played around with this combo a lot. The events and such you can kind of change in and out for whatever your play style is. The only real advice I have is to change out the speeder tank and put in solar sailor. I had the speeder tank for a long time in deck but the focus, shields and money sides of the sailor helped my Dryden deck a lot more then the tank ever did.

I think if night brother is almost dead and Dryden is exhausted, The Price of Failure would be good. I don’t know if you would use it a lot but maybe it could help.

I feel like Delve is a must in this deck. It will help you play the cards that inevitably make it into your hand, and will still always be a welcome hit from Dryden's special.

Also, I don't think Legacies is really good. Or, rather, there's almost always a better card to take it's slot. What about Stronger You Have Become or Triple Threat instead?

@Vandraven I think you might be right on the mark with Solar Sailor instead of Pirate Tank, I'll try that out at my FLGS next Destiny Night.

@master_shapiro This is a Trilogy deck, so The Price of Failure is an illegal card.

@lij_xo I think you're 100% right with Delve, I'll be adding that to the list somewhere. The problem with the deck is that people remove the Dryden dice immediately, which leave me with very hard to resolve dice. Legacies helps me get another few damage out by resolving the Vader Saber and paying 1 to deal damage and get a Dryden Vos die into the pool. It also helps with Maul's Saber when I don't have anything to resolve the Power Action-ed Mauls Saber's modified sides.

Have you tried to use talzin the misses hurt but her free turn gives you a special at least once per round.

@Starwarsarthur Most of the deck is even cost, so the Talzin special wouldn't often trigger each turn, and I'd be down 2 health from having Night Brother. Night Brother's die also allows me to resolve the Modified sides of of Vader's Saber and Maul's Saber should my Dryden dice be removed.
