Always activate K-2SO - Reprogrammed Droid 1st and then Maz Kanata - Pirate Queen 2nd. When you activate her, you can resolve 2 dice right away. Practical when she rolls 1 or 2 Focus .
Don't waste resources playing redeployable weapons on K-2SO - Reprogrammed Droid, his character dice do ample damage. Place the weapons on Maz Kanata - Pirate Queen and let the other player transfer the weapons to K-2SO - Reprogrammed Droid when they defeat her.
For some reason, 8 times out of 10, players will try to defeat Maz Kanata - Pirate Queen first. That leaves you time to build up K-2SO - Reprogrammed Droid.
