Have "patience" with the Queen of Naboo | 41 | 34 | 6 | 2.0 |
Caprid 221
A deck all about "milling" out your opponent with Patience and potentially recurring it with Return of the Jedi. Padme Amidala's abillity also helps out a lot along with Command Center. The rest of the deck is all about shielding up and getting rid of dice that will kill of your characters too fast.

I don't know how The Force is Strong got in there :) It should not be there for sure. A 2nd Deflect could be an option for sure.Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber is not a bad idea either, but I'm a little hesitant to add more cards that can only be played on specific characters. Hyperspace Jump could also work if there is enough money for it. Just to get out of bad situations :) |
Honestly, Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber fits your theme so well, and it's so powerful, it's just worth it despite the restriction. It's another option for shields or extra damage to help kill a minion to take pressure off you. Hyperspace Jump just doesn't seem worth it honestly. The Lightsaber and deflect are far more useful overall. |
I think you are right :) I'm not sure if 2 Jedi Robes is the right choice. But it does give me shields and better economy to get the other cards played. |
Nah, Jedi Robes are fantastic. They shield, disrupt resources, and focus. Great card. I'd get 1 One with The Force in there though. Later you can either pay 4 for One with The Force or swap out Jedi Robes for a discount. It's another blue only card but it stays as a support if Qui-Gon Jinn dies. |
One with The Force might actually be a good call :) On that note maybe Second Chance for Padme Amidala might also be a very interesting add :) |
That's probably a good idea; I forgot about Second Chance. So drop the 2 The Force is Strong for 1 each of Second Chance and One with The Force. I'd go One with The Force over Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber now that I think of it and since it stays in play if Qui-Gon Jinn dies. |
Makes a lot of sense :) Also don't know if it's better to run 2 dice Padme Amidala or 2 dice Qui-Gon Jinn. It doesn't really change the deck either way. 2 Padme Amidala is a bit more mill pressure and control while 2 Qui-Gon Jinn will add a bit more shields to the deck (but also makes him a target). Riposte would also go well in the deck, but since there is no other real focus on damage it seems a little out of place. |
This Is a control deck. Elite Amidala is the way to go for the discard. Focus on discard, damage minions as you can, and learn what dice hurt you most and focus on manipulating those to reduce pressure on you. The game is so new it's hard to tell what the game theory is yet but discovering it is the fun part. :) |
You're right about the elite Padme Amidala is most likely the right way to go. I made a version 2 of the deck here: swdestinydb.com |

Love the deck, my only suggestion would be swapping out both of the Force is strong with one Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber and a 2nd Deflect. The shield ability of Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber fits the theme very well
