This deck works off the premise of control and mill.

You can use all in one you have the majority of your dice in the pool or you can drop a patience and laugh as they discard 3-6 cards per turn, on top of Padme's special on top of being able to claim via cycling all in or patience.

More management/control comes from running field medic / skywalkers / protection to help pump shields and stay alive through the damage. The trooper helps by pulling as much initial aggro as he can. I would highly recommend not wasting upgrades on trooper right away if you're up against an aggro deck as they will be focusing Padme most likely and you'll have to keep him unactivated to get use.

You can figure out what the cards like block, dodge, scramble and electroshock are for. There is a healthy mix of both resource managemnet, dice control and mill in this deck. Deck seems to run into the most issues vs a Jango but even then, you can keep passing as you get your stuff out and he'll have no choice but to activate his jango eventually or face the dreaded mill.

Focus more on getting the cards off the deck before you focus on discarding from their hands.

Comlink/datapad of course to help combo into specials, grab an extra resource, or focus a dice of your choosing.

If you have any ideas for better cards, please do not hesitate to comment, overall this deck has been performing about 70% win-rate in the meta. The look on an opponents face when you tell them to mill 8+ off their deck in a turn is hilarious. Not to mention the claim you get afterwards if you're using your battlefield.

Why no Cunning to get more Padme specials or tasty opponent specials? Return of the Jedi to get more Patience? Hunker Down to trickle in more shields? I can see running a single Dodge, but are you finding 2 Dodge/2 Block valuable? Launch Bay seems good to empty their hand with Comlink and Datapads.

So far, I have found BB / Jedi Council to not be that great.

Return is definitely something I am looking to add. By late game i've usually saved a block or dodge for those huge swings(great against vader raider and aggro jango) running 2 of both.

I am definitely going to try cunning's over the Jedi Councils moving forward.

My only issue with Launch bay is that it's a lot of resources and depending on dice I am generally pooling by the end to survive big swings through blocks/dodges.

Our meta is a lot of aggro right now so the dodges/blocks are great but I agree, if you're meta isn't as heavy hitting dependent there is definitely room to drop 1 of ea.

Hunker down is interesting, but I am usually rushing to claim so that will be relative to how the game is playing out.

I run a similar build. Surprised not to see scout in there, I think it's a staple in a mill deck. Second chance is also very important in my build to extend the life expectancy of Padme (she's the 1st and only real target). I would second the recommendation to swap the councils for cunnings. Infiltrate is another cheap defensive upgrade.
