This is a deck I've been evolving since the game came out. It seems like I've got a lot of things in common with other FOST/FOST/NS/BT decks, but some key differences.

This deck does:

  • Cripple your opponent's ability to play cards.
  • Generate a LOT of money.
  • Play big cards.
  • Stay alive.

The most powerful thing in the whole game you can do on turn one, in my opinion, is to deny your opponent resources for the rest of the game. No one builds decks with the idea that they're going to have to operate on one resource per turn, and it's crippling. Even if you don't see it from your side, your opponent is hurting badly when you drop T1 Local Garrison on them. Even if they can overcome the lack of resources through their dice, you've essentially Prized Possessioned one of their dice for the rest of the game. With no (reasonable) ability to remove Supports from the table yet, we are at a point in this game's life cycle where the designers do not yet realize the power of cheap resource denial.

There are four cards in here that make your guys harder to kill, and two more that bring them back from the dead.

Hidden In Shadow on Nightsister is a free reroll every turn. Hunker Down is a fantastic way to gain ground on resources if you happen to claim.
