Korto 16

Jango arguably being the best character from Awakening and Jango-Veers being the most represented deck out there, I took a look at the latest: Strength: raw damage burst from character's dice, access to yellow villain cards (he doesnt like you, electroshock, backup muscle, on the hunt and the neutral jetpack) and last but not least, speed that will let you claim the battlefield most of the time. Weakness: Life total (a low 19) and the obvious "shoot Jango first". Some might beg to differ on that one but all in all, after playing with and against the deck about 50 times now this deck definitely wins more with Jango alive, no contest here.

I also tried the EBala/Jango/Trooper but the main arugment about this deck is that it have more HP than Jango Veers...6 more HP, but you really downgrade the dice quality, cutting down the fast damage output we all know and love from the J/V deck. Tik is no Veers and the trooper...well...with no way to direct the damage to him, it's kinda useless with its really bad die. The only thing I really enjoyed about that deck is the amazing Fight Dirty card, but if that's the only reason to play it, lets just say that Bala dies way too fast to keep the dream alive.

So this here deck tries to take advantage of Jango and to keep him alive as long as possible. Cannon Fodder and the very good The best defense puts the damage where your opponent don't want to, while taking away their dice on the way. Hunker down will also help Jango in a shooty meta at no cost. The rest is pretty much Jango-Veers textbook, except for promotion cuz you want to get those troopers working a bit here! I also chipped in disarm, a good card vs Jango Veers but this and promotion are my flexible cards in there. Suggestions welcome for those flexible cards!
