Latest iteration: removed 2x Sweep the Area, added Dodge because meta and Feel Your Anger.
Went 4-0 tonight. Beat Jango Fett/General Veers twice. Darth Vader/Tusken Raider once and a Admiral Ackbar/Double Hired Gun.
I think after 9 revisions, this deck is coming into its own.
Latest iteration. Added in Datapad to see if resource generation and upgrade stepping will speed up the deck.
Highly competitive opponents shoot for Nightsister first so we I've added in a Scramble. Trying First Order TIE Fighter over Infantry Grenades because of the new resource generation. No upgrade stepping but supports don't die.
Strengths:
- Health.
- Cheap events, good escalation of upgrades.
- Bala-Tik + Nightsister's abilities.
- Hunker Down adding shields to Nightsister for damage-less execution of her ability and melee protection to save Hunker Down.
- Redeployable upgrades.
Weaknesses:
- Resource generation.
- A few "spot a character cards" that could become discards.
- Will almost never claim the battlefield.
Opportunities:
- As per the version number, I'm constantly updating this and trying new card sets.
Threats:
- Disruption. Although, contains many free to play cards.
- Discard. Absolutely punishes this deck.
- Hyperloop.

I've taken out Feel Your Anger and put it back in a number of times. The new iteration has 2x Feel Your Anger because I find it valuable to be able to often remove 1+ dice for 1 cost vs 1 dice for 1 cost like Electroshock + Isolation (both of which are spot cards and Bala-Tik and Nightsister are always the priority targets). I never have enough money to play Endless Ranks so it's pointless for me to include. I've honestly beaten a similar build to this after he played Endless Ranks, I prefer my go to control. I've tried Promotion before, didn't like it. The Datapads are a new addition and I don't know if they will be staying. When I have more consistent resource generation, I've noticed that I can pay for control while advancing the board state for my characters. Playing in poverty makes those two goals mutually exclusive. The First Order TIE Fighters have come and gone and in this newer, richer (Datapad) build, have been a welcome addition. I've run On The Hunt in this deck before. Amazing card. The side irritates me but I should look at putting another one back in. The First Order TIE Fighter special is the same so that works great against gen decks. I've main decked Dodge because of the current fascination with . The new version also includes a Power of the Dark Side which has been lethal when rerolling First Order Stormtrooper and Datapad dice. |

I've been playing versions of this for a bit and am curious about Hidden In Shadow. I suppose with The Best Defense... and Cannon Fodder you can get some good value out of it but I haven't tried it yet. I tried Feel Your Anger and didn't like it since you have plenty of other options that are better. I found that most decks go for Bala-Tik unless they only have 2 characters. With that in mind I don't play any electroshocks since the games go long and thats a real cost. I was playing 1 Endless Ranks as a hedge on going to time but now that I play faster it might not be necessary. I love Hunker Down, Promotion, Logistics and Deflect, 2 ofs in my list, i know deflect is spot a blue but its such high upside. Aside from that my list is pretty close to yours. Have you like the First Order TIE Fighter? I'm back and forth on liking it. I've been trying one copy of On The Hunt and I have been liking it.
