Strategy

A straight forward aggro deck that wants to draw into as many guns as possible and then smoothe the rolls with the help of -dice from Leia Organa and Comlink for a consistent -damage output. Smuggling, Scavenge and Rearm are there to accelerate the build up process and add flexibility.

Playstyle

Load up on upgrades and when someone falls Scavenge or Rearm stuff back on the other one. Scavenge and Rearm are key cards as they allow good upgrade sculpting. E.g. overwrite a Handout with a Comlink to reroll their dice and then Scavenge it back to overwrite again and get the bonus action. The deck will provide what we need, when we need it due to the flexibility of the utility cards.

Infamous adds speed & shields, thus being is one of the most important targets for digging up with Scavenge while All In and It's a Trap! are the big finishers. Notice that it´s ok to put red guns on Han as It's a Trap! picks any dice on the table, not just Leias.

As the deck is fast Defensive Position works well as control. The BG is there to shave some -cost off Han and get the some extra hits in.

Notes

  • [Smuggling](/card/01134) over [Logistics](/card/01142) as it´s yellow and thus doubles as generator and adds speed.
  • [DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol](/card/01051) is a triple for 1; damage, ambush (more ) and control in one card. Don´t hesitate to overwrite anything for it. Despite that it´s iffy to include more than 1 due to the cost.

Why aren't you using second chance?

The short answer is that non-Finn gun rebels have poor choices atm and it pushes up the curve. Further it´s a weird card because you only want to see it when Han is about to die, but at any other time it does nothing but act as a re roll. Yet you want 2 in the deck to draw it at the right time, furthering weakening the rest of the deck. Every other card has immediate impact. Thus I waffle back and forth on it.
