This deck is replacing Beauty and the Carp as my tournament deck. It is in the early testing stages. Local meta is still blaster heavy so I grudgingly include Dodge - once the split gets closer to 50/50 melee/ranged I plan to take it out and replace it with a more utilitarian card.

I'm toying around with various battlefields, and while Rebel War Room isn't a perfect fit, it seems to favor this deck over my opponent's most of the time, which is all I want in a battlefield.

The heart of the deck is tankiness and control. There is no viable first target. Your goal is to upgrade whomever isn't taking damage. No matter what, use Dooku's ability to mitigate damage, as this is what keeps this deck around for the mid-late game.

Someone in the comments is going to chime in and ask "why the hell Disturbance in the Force?! You damn newb." Well, give it a shot in your deck. If you have a round where you roll cold and your opponent rolls hot, whip it out. It'll shock your opponent and maybe good things will happen (you can't have two bad rolls in a row, right?).

It Binds All Things is a toss-up for me. I don't know if I love it or hate it. My real hope is that SoR gives us some 1 cost and 2 cost melee options for Blue Villain, enough that I can run this deck 90% weapons and toss out Sith Holocron, keep It Binds All Things for the discounting, and pull in Close Quarters Assault, another underplayed card that is just so, so strong when every one of your dice has a melee side.

Thanks for the direction to your new deck. Why switch? Meta reasons or do you enjoy this deck more? My meta is super control heavy so I like playing aggro. I also enjoy aggro in general for my games haha. How much did this build cost?

@Bonjoviisking, after 5 weeks of playing the same deck, I needed a bit of a break. I miss my old deck, and do keep playing it to stay sharp with it. With the date now set for SoR, I've made a schedule for myself to play one tournament with every single major deck possible in Awakenings. Mostly to keep things interesting, but to also understand the other decks better to play against them. This is the first deck on that list!
