Pretty standard Dooku-Ren list.

Strategy:

The basic strategy here is to go for face as much as possible. I have found it very useful to try and take the opponents battlefield for the shields unless you're against a mill deck. The shields are usually best on Kylo Ren since he doesn't have an amazing survival passive but against characters with good die you may want to place at least one on Count Dooku.

breakdown:

With the current lists I have been viewing, Kylo Ren special only has about a 1.53 expected value so it's only slightly better than rolling the one damage die but the threat of learning the opponents hand provides the real value. It's also a bit slow to play at the start since it requires an action to resolve but this goes away as you begin to field cards using Sith Holocron.

One-off cards:

I find Isolation less useful in this list simply because it only provides value against certain die in certain situations, but when those times arrive, it is very useful. An example of this is modifiers like Jetpack and only one Jango Fett die showing .

Flank is an amazing card and that's exactly why this list runs one copy of it. It has less value against 3+ character lists but later on, after you wreck some chumps, it can provide huge value. Against 2 character lists this card performs fine (depending on your playstyle) for removing high value die like a Force Throw, Commanding Presence, or One With The Force which Isolation cannot touch.

Disturbance in the Force is a card I have seen get some strange looks when used but I have found it extremely useful. It's the ability to get a second chance after an opponent does a god roll on you, while at the same time, giving your die the chance to roll into something better. I use this card almost every match to prevent an opponent from having their next action(s) planned out. It's sort of a round restart, mind game sort of thing because Sith love that.

Force Strike has one copy in here in the event no sides roll, or if they are removed, and you have modified sides from Kylo Ren's Lightsaber or Lightsaber. You don't have to resolve the damage the turn you play the card so this is another chance to resolve those beautiful modifiers without gambling on the re-roll for only one . Ideally you wouldn't want this in your start hand so always mull this card.

Outside of that, the rest is pretty standard for this list.
