HeyItsBR 62

This is my version of the famous deck Vader / Raider

Ok, So Vader is my all time favorite villain and once this game that we all come to love called SW Destiny came out, I knew I had to have some Vader in my life. That being said I have tried mixing Vader in a ton of decks single and elite versions basically every other deck but Vader/Raider and when I finally gave in to try this tier 1 deck I tested the posted versions from SWDB user's and IMO they just weren't for me. So I threw my spin on this deck and tweaked it a ton and for me this works well.... Very well actually! I have taken first in alot of tourneys and finished 2nd a bunch as well. Of course you cant win every match but this deck does get the job done more frequently then others.

Here are some key elements to this deck.

Backup Muscle (IMO top 5 best card in the game)
3 unblockable for 1?!?! Nuff said!

● All the mitigation! Deflect , Electroshock , Feel Your Anger , He Doesn't Like You , & Isolation To get rid of those die you don't want out there.

● 24 Blue cards to help with No Mercy to blow up someone for the game.

Mos Eisley Spaceport Believe it or not this BF actually is really useful in this deck. Bouncing back cheap upgrade for 1 always helps but what I really use it for is whenever my opponent is about to take out one of my characters and that character happens to have a Sith Holocron I can salvage it before it gets discarded. It happens more often then not! And you usually get the chance to play this BF even if you lose the roll out because your opponent is not really afraid of the BF chosen.

● The right amount of each upgrade. I have a total of 12 upgrades and IMO just the right amount for each. I went with x1 Kylo Ren's Lightsaber opposed to the x2 version just because of the uniqueness of the upgrade. I can totally see someone swapping out an upgrade for Gaffi Stick , Flame Thrower , etc. If you wanted to throw in a extra of another or swap out a card entirely there's still enough meat on the bone to deal the damage or mitigate well.

● Great combo's! Okay so I will tell you a play that I made about week or two ago. My opponent rolled crap and discarded a few times already and with the Darth Vader (AW) auto discard he was down to 1 card. And being the fact that I had 2 Force Throw with specials showing he choose's to claim early, Leaving 2 dice out that were blanks. (Both were Hired Gun ) & leaving me with 5 dice on the board. 2 Force Choke 2 Force Throw and a Kylo Ren's Lightsaber So I discard to reroll the 2 Force Choke & Kylo Ren's Lightsaber & I roll specials on all three so now I have 5 specials showing. I first hit the Hired Gun that had 2 shields on with Kylo Ren's Lightsaber then reroll it out getting 3 melee for 1 resource. and resolve that paying the 1. Then choke both of his hired gun's dealing 1 unblockable and turning them to the 3 ranged for 1. Then finally throwing them back at his face. He was stunned and impressed and pissed at the same time! it was glorious. Granted this is very situational but possible in this deck.

And that's my deck. Please let me know how do you feel about this version and what tweaks to it you feel I should try.

Thx & have a great day!
