The point of this deck is to pump up Captain Phasma with enough Upgrades to make her a killer, and of course keep her alive long enough to kill by using the First Order Stromtroopers to Guardian-soak away any would-be damage to her. Generating Resources is important for the normal reasons, but also to build up enough to play the AT-ST and Endless Ranks. A weakness I see is dice removal, as I really don't have any.except Commanding Presence which of course only works if your opponent is playing any red characters.

Anyhow, I made the deck because I like Phasma, pure and simple. I've only played it once so far and it was against a friend who played Rey, Padawan, and Luminara Unduli from the upcoming Spirit of Rebellion set. I ALMOST won, as it came very, very close. I was able to take out the Padawan fairly early, but not before Luminara beefed her up with a 4 Melee attack that made it through to Phasma. I then focused on Rey and destroyed her, but again, failed to Guardian properly and Phasma ate more damage. In the meantime Luminara had gotten some nice Upgrades, and by the time Rey was defeated and a Lightsaber Redoployed, Luminara was a force (pardon the pun) to be reckoned with!

So I got out my AT-ST and took out 1/2 of Luminara's life with the help of Commanding Presence, but unfortunately 1 very bad roll for me (3 blanks) plus a very good role for my friend coupled with a mathematically perfect play of The Power of the Force killed off Phasma right before I could seal the deal with Nowhere To Run. By then, my weakened Stormtroopers tried their best, along with my AT-ST to finish her, but she kept getting Shields and I kept rolling AT-ST specials. Despite the fact that very-late game I was able to Endless Ranks, I still lost, because suped-up Luminara pretty much 1-shot him. Soooo close!

If you need some removal why not run [the best defense...]? And maybe take out [aim], 1 resource to change 1 of your dice is expensive

I'm honestly a little afraid of that 3 damage but it might be something i should do anyway. And yeah, Aim didn't really do anything for me at all so I could afford to drop it.
