This deck was created to combine the abilities of FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper and IG-88 - Assassin Droid. The main goal is to put an upgrade on FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper. You would then roll and hopefully resolve the die. On your next action you can overwrite the previous weapon and do the same thing in a loop. You can use IG-88 - Assassin Droid to pick up yellow weapons from the discard pile.

I picked weapons for the deck that have the maximum number of sides that can be immediately resolved when rolled on FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper. I used mostly weapons because you want most of the cards in your hand to be weapons to loop on FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper. The rest of the cards in the deck are events to mess with your opponents dice. I usually try not to re-roll to much with this deck.

I usually try to mulligan for at least one event so that I can take care of my opponents strong dice from the start. I also want at least one yellow weapon in my opening hand so that I can use the IG-88 - Assassin Droid special if I roll it.

I usually wait to roll out IG-88 - Assassin Droid if I have an ambush upgrade in my hand until after I play it on FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper. Then I can get his dice out without an additional action. I may also use the additional ambush action to roll out FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper or to play another ambush upgrade.

The battlefield (Imperial Armory - Death Star) was chosen because you can use the ability to roll and resolve a die after you claim the battlefield. I have considered using Emperor's Throne Room - Death Star II to flip IG-88 - Assassin Droid's die to a special and resolve. I have also considered Starship Graveyard - Jakku to rescue my best upgrades from the discard pile.

Finally, if you win the initial roll choose your opponents battlefield because you want the two shields for FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper. IG-88 - Assassin Droid CAN survive well on his own but FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper is your major damage machine and he should be the first to die.

This deck is super fun to play with and seems to be pretty effective and competitive. Please try it out and let me know what you think!
