Wassabi 1

The idea behind the deck is to limit your opponent through disruption, returning upgrades to hand, and sabotaging supports, all whilst building up your own arsenal. The majority of your opponents learn quickly not to play 2 cost upgrades instead saving for 3 cost upgrades or supports. This can play to your advantage, delaying the development of their field or, if managed via Unkar Plutt - Junk Dealer disruption, you can deprive them of any upgrades/supports.

Building your forces isn't as slow/difficult as you might think. Despite the Death Trooper die lacking a resource face, this deck generates plenty of resources, mostly through Unkar Plutt - Junk Dealer. He is the leader here, though that is unclear to most opponents. However, if he is targeted first, your troopers will be putting in work whilst he takes the punishment. That being said only some of the damage that your opponent puts on the table will actually get though due to the substantial amount of control built into the deck.

Most the the events in the deck are included to prevent taking too much damage, however the troopers are expendable. Ideally your opponent will target the Death Trooper first making for an exceptionally juicy Endless Ranks play. This idea can be stealthily suggested during game play vie the use of The Best Defense... and applying that damage to the Death Trooper. Not only will it make him an appealing target, your opponent will be pleased to believe that the Death Trooper can be removed so easily from the game...

The deck plays quite slowly due to the inclusion of a number of supports, however that facilitates the use of control cards, especially Flank. That being said it's usually good to get a die in the pool early for the use of cards like He Doesn't Like You or Suppression.

Other card options / potentials:

Speeder Bike Scout

Astromech (special works well with Speeder Bike & Tie Fighter)

Unpredictable

Fast Hands (on Unkar for immediate disruption)

Backup Muscle

Salvage Stand

One-Quarter Portion (though giving the opponent resources is counter productive)
