Latest attempt at Qui-Gon/Rey. So far I'm 4-0 with this exact list.
New SOR cards give new defensive and offensive options for Qui-Gon+Rey. New events like Guard, High Ground, Caution and Synchronicity must be included imo. I don't believe this deck needs 2 Force Speeds but it definitely performs better with 2 Vibroknives instead of 1. If you only have 1 Vibroknife, try adding 2 Rey's Staff because this deck is always looking for sides. My Ally Is The Force is kind of expensive but you can use it to resolve the Force Speed twice in a row to take an additional 4 actions. Secluded Beach is a very interesting battlefield if you're running any melee heavy decks. I like it better than Echo Base for this deck. Close Quarters Assault is the the latest addition to this deck. Its cheap and is more useful than Destiny or Trust Your Instincts. Cards I might add/remove after more testing: Willpower, One With The Force, Handcrafted Light Bow.
Just lost my first game with this deck against Death Trooper x3, which used Endless Ranks to great effect. I had my opponent discard the first copy using Close Quarter Assault on round 1 or 2 and later failed to hit the second copy as I had my opponent discard 3 out of 4 cards in hand. That was the turning point of the game I think. Still it was a tight race. I'm considering lowering the upgrade count to add more control either through Use the Force or a second copy of YECDY.
