Cienna/Thrawn is an odd pairing, but they make for a great synergistic deck. Thrawn and Chance Cube help generate resources for the expensive finishers in the deck (AT-ST or T-7 ion Disruptor Rifle).

The deck's ideal opener is a Chance Cube paired with an Imperial Discipline or a Logistics to jam a turn one AT-ST or T-7 Ion Disruptor Rifle. When going for the turn one T-7 Ion Disruptor Rifle, make sure to play it on the character not being focused, as the deck's removal suite is not all that cheap, and losing a t-7 to an early death is a massive loss.

The deck is on the slower side (so you won't be claiming too often) but can dish out crazy damage on a single turn. The Drop Your Weapon! can be very rewarding as it can take care of problematic weapons, such as Shoto Lightsaber, Riot Baton or a Poe's Blaster, and in some cases you could even claim early if it means you get to discard a weapon as your first action on the following round. Imperial Inspection also helps slow down aggro decks, since both the characters have sides on them.

The deck's consistency at making a plentiful amount of resources can make even the AT-DP/First Order TIE Fighter/Speeder Bike Scout dangerous through Ciena Ree - Adept Pilot's "ready a vehicle" ability. Thrawn - Master Strategist focus sides combined with Armored Support add a scary consistency to the damage the supports/T-7 Ion Disruptor Rifle can deal.

this....actually seems viable. imperial discipline and chance cube together...why didn't i think of that. kylo 2 / grievous might destroy this deck though. i would add sound the alarm (in place of the silly logistics) to up to gray count. FORGET ABOUT IMPERIAL INSPECTION. it's a dead card. bury it. i wonder how Hux + thrawn works out with mobilize and imperial backing.....

Maybe sound the alarm is actually better than the imperial inspection. Unfortunately eHux is 14 and eThrawn 17. Kylo2 grievous is a hard match, but upping the gray count by 2 should make it harder for kylo2's ability to hit.

I would take both Imperial Inspection, Speeder Bike Scout 2 Armored Support and 1 Drop Your Weapon! put in 2 Sound The Alarm 2 Salvoand 2 Imperial Backing. This will allow for a little more mitigation a lot more damage with the Salvo and some quicker vehicles with Imperial Backing Enjoy and good luck.

This looks fun to try out. Any better alternatives to the T-7’s?

@StaticCat ill test the changes out, although the imperial backing is odd with 2 characters

@Ion87 T-7 is the best i could come up with since it has huge damage potential per turn, sonic cannon is too pricey on its resource cost sides (also easily mitigated by doubt)

The imperial backing in a 2 character deck is effectively for playing a support with ambush.

wouldn't Partnership be a little better than imperial backing? upping the gray is always better

@jeremyeagles I like partnership over imperial backing, it essentially lets me cheat 3 actions and helps up gray cards against Kylo2.
