This was the decklist that I took to regionals in Rochester. The deck operated pretty well including wins over 3 rocket launchers (which gives the opponent an advantage). I got into the top 8 but lost the first round in a close match to Poe-Hondo. I’ll add a full write up at a later time but wanted to get the deck list out. Feel free to comment/ ask questions!

Congrats on the top 8 finish at Rochester! I was gonna be 5th overall and got paired down and lost to a Hero Mill deck and dropped to 16th overall I had a great time and look forward to my next regionals. But this deck right here would have been my nightmare. Hero vehicles is a really bad match up against my Phasma/Boba deck! Keep doing what your doing man! Btw those 2 top Hondo decks were tough I faced both of them.

Thank you for the reply! Yeah when I decided to go with this deck (Sabine or obi-maz were other choices), I knew Mill would be my nightmare. Somehow I was able to avoid it. I did play vs a Boba-Phasma in round 5 but he had a weapons cache so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t you. He rolled absolutely terrible but the matchup didn’t seem the best (for him). Although I did mitigate Boba’s special any time I could due to the high sides of my vehicles.

I was glad to see you in the top 8. The Poe/Hondo you faced was tough. In hindsight, was there anything you felt the deck was missing, or any cards that seemed less useful than you expected?

Why the singleton Goggles? I keep seeing that in similar lists. Does it really perform? Especially since Ezra seems to be a good early target to turn of Pickings?

I saw lists with and without it. While testing, it was nice to have the 2x focus and chance for mitigation on a stick. The “spot a yellow” never came into play but looking back, having a second copy of c-3po may have been better.

Overall, I was happy with how the deck operated as I certainly never felt like I “god-rolled” but just had consistency with all the focus. My opening hand and rolls were the absolutely worst of the day in the top 8 and having to give vital resources away (Hondo) didn’t help either. Truce might be worth it instead of the goggles and either a tech team or rally aid.
