Hey everyone, this is Nick from T3 Gaming!

Some people were asking about the list, so this is a slightly updated version of the list I played here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7vnLquKn6o&t=29s

It plays pretty straight forward and can deal out some serious damage.

Use Armored Reinforcement to bring out the Black Two right away, which was one of my biggest priorities when trying to get Mauler/Mods to kick in. If you can, take your field to play it for 1 .

From there, play what comes up and use Partnership, Wingman, and Tactical Mastery to hopefully roll out some lethal damage.

The biggest weakness I've experienced so far is being extremely susceptible to Easy Pickings (lots of 2 and +2 ) and I do sorta wonder how this would do if someone destroyed my Black Two...

I'm enjoying this list a LOT more than I thought I would and I'm always open to suggestions! I will definitely be playing this a lot more and am considering bringing it to a tournament or two... let me know what you think! :)

UPDATE: This list just won a local tournament, went 3-1. A couple of the matches will be on T3 Gaming's Youtube channel, so I won't spoil which one's end which way with a tournament report just yet (they were all close and exciting!) but I will at least say that this is a viable, tournament-worthy list!

Nice list! I might have to try it myself. I'd maybe recommend Logistics to make some more money, although I'm not sure what I'd replace. Maybe Intense Fire, depending on how that card has been for you.

@krez Intense Fire has been awesome tbh. I can see Logistics finding a home here, but Intense Fire often resolves +2 just because this list is mono-Red and that can lead to some surprising bursts that catch people off guard.

I would suggest maybe Leadership to counter easy pickings and, if necessary, to use "Mauler" Mithel - Vader's Wingman or Iden Versio - Inferno Squad Commander's ability, which ever one comes in more handy. Great list btw

@PatpatineI do like me some Leadership and yes, in some matches it would be benefitial to see Iden twice instead of Mauler's modifier heavy sides. Maybe drop a Free Fall for a Leadership and see how it goes?

decided to give the deck a spin on TTS. Never really been a fan of free fall until i used both in one turn, to remove a triple laser turret die on the 3 for 1 and an Umbaran Hover Tank die on special, and active black two in one turn.

The latest video you had the tank in, was it just not as impactful against a wide list as you would have liked? - you said you removed it but I'm guessing it was after the game against L3-37/Biggs/Maz?

@RoAr Yeah I like the Umbaran, just not in this list. Took it out after that match and after a few others off camera. It didn't really play nice with Mauler, who needs more consistent base ranged sides to go with his modifiers. I might take it for another spin if my local scene starts to see a LOT of 3 and 4 wides, but for now Black Two will be my go-to.

If you shift the list around a lil and find room then you could leave the Umbaran in, but I wouldn't use Armored Reinforcement to pull it right away as I think Black Two should pretty much always be priority.

Love the deck analysis and your videos. GREAT WORK! Ever since Iden was leaked I've been wanting to play her. Now that the set is out I'm really enjoying Mauler. So why not put them together! My question for you is the battlefield gives you one less so you only pay 1 for Black Two but what about Secret Facility? Allows you to resolve the range, modified, and indirect at once and can make the deck quicker. Would love your thoughts on it and thanks again for the great content!

Second, funnily enough the battlefield is one of the positions in this list where I do actually want to try other cards. The entire reason for playing Weapons Factory Alpha - Cymoon 1 is the first turn. That's all. Get out Black Two for one and then have a resource for either removal or Dorsal Turret/DH-17 on turn 1. Past that, I don't have much need for it. I have the other TIE Fighters in but I have only played them maybe 1 out of every 4 or 5 matches (so maybe they'll get the hook too...). So the field benefits me for 1 resource worth and then it's kinda moot for the rest of the game and that's definitely a spot where the list could improve!

As for Secret Facility - Scarif, I'd have to see it in action. Honestly I've never been too impressed with it before, but I could maybe see it fit here. Overall tho, I haven't really had any major issues with speed: Wingman, Tactical, and Partnership all play their part in that. That said: if you try something else and it works better, let me know! :)
