So I got lucky pulling 2 of the new Vader early when I bought a box of AtG and some prize packs after tournaments, so I knew I just HAD to make a deck with him. I also got a few weapons that go well with him (Chain Sickle, Grappling Boa), which is good, because I'm still new enough to the game that I don't have a lot of the older, good weapons that you'd usually expect to see (Maul's Lightsaber, Shoto Lightsaber, Ancient Lightsaber, Dagger of Mortis, Vibroknife).

I included Friends in Low Places because I'd heard talk at my local store of the Yoda/Leia/Crime Lord deck that uses Force Speed and Ace in the Hole to roll in and resolve Crime Lord to kill Vader before I would have a chance to remove the die. So I figured making them discard Ace in the Hole would be good against that. Also, it's a good card to ditch opponents' removal events, so I can get all of Vader's damage, so it's still useful against other decks.

I kind of want to include more offensive non-weapon cards, like second copies of The Price of Failure, Bait and Switch, and/or Fear and Dead Men, but they're situational enough that I just don't consider them that important. Maybe I'm just more focused on defense than I should be, and I should be focusing more on offense.

Anyway, I won 3 out of 4 at a store tourney with this deck a few days ago, so I think it's pretty good, though I don't think it's quite good enough to really stand a chance of going 4-0.

Might want to look at Force Strike for consistency.

Theed Royal Palace - Naboo is a must here with Darth Vader's Lightsaber and Chain Sickle being in you deck

I was already looking at Force Strike. I like Clash for the inevitable Vader vs Vader matchup, but maybe I'll go one of each, instead of 2 of Clash.

Why the Royal Palace?

I actually traded in one Force Strike to replace one of Clash. Played this game again at a smaller store tourney and went 2-1.
