I haven't played with the Pilot mechanic enough yet to know if it's any good, but I have played with cards like Hit and Run and Drop In enough to know that Command and Conquer is really good when you get to take advantage of all modes. Using it to activate Vader, turn his die to 2 or , and then immediately resolve it makes him pretty threatening. More vehicles might be needed.
