The inclusion of one Tusken Raider to the standard 4 First Order Stormtrooper swam opens up a variety of low cost, and efficient yellow cards.

No unique, elite, or special units here. Four non-unique units allows for best combo with Squad Tactics. "Hail Mary" event possible with Nowhere to Run, but only one included since rare, even with Stormies. Flank almost guaranteed, unless playing mirror match or 4 First Order Stormtroopers.

Damage spreading through Cannon Fodder and The Best Defense.... Deck continues to have good opponent dice control with Unpredictable.

Resource economy, to rain rifles and rez troopers, with Datapad, Underworld Connections, and Logistics.

Inexpensive upgrades and Imperial Armory allow for efficient arming of troops. Gaffi Stick, Holdout Blaster, and F-11D Rifle are branded with redeploy and will be hard to remove from the table; think enemy at the gates rifle passing.

Action economy through cards like Squad Tactics, Unpredictable, Holdout Blaster, and Tactical Mastery.

Deck is full of cards that bring more than one thing to the theme of the deck. Being able to control dice, spread damage, and mitigate damage through cards like Cannon Fodder, The Best Defense..., and Unpredictable. There are a lot of options that open up with these cards.

Getting most out of Underworld Connections means seeing them early, and playing them early to avoid tempo loss in late game. Setting up resource economy is good, so seeing Datapad and Logistics helps. Unpredictable is also good early, less dice each side.

Do not want to draw into Endless Ranks, aim is to not lose a trooper until you have resource economy going. Seeing Squad Tactics early is not so good either; save for mid game when you have full set of upgraded troopers.

Ideal starting hand:

*Might not be able to play both first turn, but having them early is key. Having both netting zero gain/loss on turn two is great, and then every turn after they are profit.

Please comment, and share ideas about deck. Fun deck that makes use of some gimmick cards. With most games having 2-3 characters it's fun seeing one with max possible at the moment. #Ewoksnow

Cool, from the beggining im trying this configuration because i love red and its very fun to play. I found strange that dont use any red support for the deck, and also that you dont put the heavy blaster... Would love to try!

Was looking into outpost, but not sure yet. Drudge work was replaced with underworld connections. With trying to keep deck cost low that removes options of high cost red supports; they are awesome, but that's why they are high cost.

No electroshock because of the "spot yellow" requirement. Expect lone raider to get burnt down fast.

No DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol because of high cost with no redeploy. All of the high cost upgrades in this deck have redeploy, so they will stay on the board.

DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol is a hero only card anyway. :)

Love the deck and plan to build it assuming I get all the components in my 3+ booster boxes.

DL-44 yup! tottally true.... I have the chance to test this deck last night and i still missing some good support cards, the money engine works well, but theres nothing to spend that worth and i found that to work well you need very cirscunstancial draws... Found great anyway the add of the tusken, maybe more yellow events with some dice removal would be nice.

I would add the IQA-11 Blaster Rifle in place of promotion honestly. This is an aggro damage build not a control build. You want to put as much dice out asap to get damage. The unblockable damage from IQA-11 Blaster Rifle is great for getting through shield builds too.

Alternatively you could drop the Gaffi Stick for the IQA-11 Blaster Rifle since your build is all range, except for the tusken, and the likelihood of getting the melee needed is too low imo. I expect FFG to make a generic melee stormtrooper like Tr8-Tr eventually and that would make the Gaffi Stick better for a build like this. Until then, I'd focus on range.

Agree with the Gaffi Stick drop. It never ends up working out; having the redeploy is nice, but when it ends up on a trooper they just derp with it O.o.

Going to try IQA-11 Blaster Rifle with my next iteration.
