Hello all this is my first "competitive" deck in the game of Star Wars Destiny. I am a pretty new player and after looking around at some decks on this website and my own cards (two starters, handful of SoR cards) i saw Qui-Gon Rey as my best and cheapest option to get a deck started to take to a local. So welcome to version 1.0

Cards i would like to add but don't have are: 1) 2x Vibroknife 2) 1x Force Speed 3) 2x One With The Force 4) Echo Base - Hoth Maybe some other cards here or there but im not familiar with all cards yet, and it would also depend on local meta. Also since i dont have Echo Base - Hoth I am split between Starship Graveyard - Jakku and Frozen Wastes - Starkiller Base

Looking for advice on what you might add besides from the cards listed above. As well as some general gameplay tips for this deck. This is my first write up and first post on this site and i will update this as i play games and get cards. Thank you for stopping by

I wouldn't use Starship graveyard because Poe Maz use that claim effect to recycle vehicles. Also just a quick thing, you can only use one Rey Staff because it's unique. Maybe check out force training to replace it. Might look at defensive stance as well. Great shield deck, but as with any shield deck, Vibroknife cuts right through it so be careful of that. Looks good!

First you can have two Rey's Staff in your deck, but you can only have one in play at a time.

I would you use Frozen Wastes over Graveyard, because Rey decks tend to claim earlier so you can remove a die and you can't really use the ability of the Graveyard without any ambush cards. I also think Decisive Blow is too expensive for this deck. You will need most of you resources for dice removal.

Lastly it's kind of good that Vibroknife doesn't remove your shields, because you want to use them for Riposte.

If you have High Ground, it's also a really good card in this deck.

@KyloStrawberry Yeah I was thinking of going with frozen waste because someone pointed that out to me. I know that I can only use one rey's staff at a time. But I find it to be a decent card and like to draw it early. So that's why I go two. But once I start getting more cards I will probably drop to 1/just cut. Thanks for the tips!

Close Quarters Assault is also a pretty good control card with the amount of melee dice you roll.
