This is the first deck that popped into my head, having played the game exactly once (and not with this deck), so it's very likely flawed. The idea is to totally control your opponent's damage with your Guardians, or just remove their dice outright (e.g. by Flank or The Best Defense). Use upgrades to either buff Phasma up while your Guardians take all the damage, or place the redeploy upgrades on the FOST for added efficiency. You should be able to pretty consistently deal ranged damage from the first turn, which will only improve with your upgrades and supports.

Really like the damage mitigation/control theme. Too bad you can't get two Nightsister.

I feel like Endless Ranks should be in here as well as Squad Tactics.

Deflect feels a bit underpowered to me for 1 resource. But it does fit the theme so well.

Really interested in this as I have 2 Captain Phasma, just need a Nightsister now.

Thanks for the feedback!

Endless Ranks is cool, but I highly doubt I will ever get to 5 resources with this deck, it has very little in terms of resource acceleration. Also, Ranks would only work on the FOST, not on Phasma or Nightsister.

Squad Tactics doesn't do a whole lot in this deck I think, at best it hits the FOST and the Nightsister (Phasma is unique, so she won't work). But I like being able to control my character activations separately in order to best use the Guardian keywords. I'd propably include it if decks were larger, but for now it doesn't seem like it can replace any of the cards I have in there.

Deflect I disagree with, I think it's really good. Just hitting a 2 damage dice is a swing of three damage (prevent 2, deal 1). Hitting a 3 damage dice would swing for 5, which sounds utterly amazing to me.

Also, one thing I'm thinking about is going single die Phasma + 2 Nightsisters. Gives a lot more control, the die is much better than FOST's, and Immobilize / Deflect / Use the Force would be more secure. Though that's propably not worth it, Phasma's die is decent as well.

I concede all points. Missed that Endless Ranks was Red only, so it's best left out. And I completely misread Deflect. I thought you would have to deal that damage to a character you control. Looks like I'll be testing this one out!

How about switching out 2x Flank for 2x Take Cover? The shields could potentially be die removal if placed on the Nightsister which is just as good as Flank without the cost or the requirement.

Hmmm, that might be a good idea. I like flank for its instant speed, but I can always just Take Cover after the removal.

Well scratch my comment about Flank/Take Cover... I got a Nightsister in my box and the card reads "Reroll a die..." Not remove. Which is not even close.

Yeah, that disappointd me too; not sure if this deck is still worth it :/ but it can't hurt to try, I guess :D

I built a similar deck today, and so far went undefeated with it. I recommend aim, dug in, personal escort (for Phasma when you want to soak for your other guys), Immobilize (amazing!), and endless ranks. I know you said 5 is a lot, and it is. But from play experience this card just owns.
