So I was just comparing the Baze and Snap - European Championship Top 4 deck with ArchitectGaming's ePoe eSnap Choke list which should run pretty similarly. This list represents my changes to the Euro Baze list, with inspiration from the Poe/Snap ArchitectGaming list as well.

Before I forget, thanks to DreadFool who has been discussing ideas and build philosophy with me.

The ArchitectGaming Poe list is on Carbon-freezing Chamber - Bespin so it is a bit more disrupt/claim oriented than this deck, where the battlefield is useful but doesn't need to be defended at all costs. I feel playing somewhere other than Bespin might be the right call right now - The wave of Snap-Carbon decks have now made people realize how damaging CFC is, and as a result there is a lot better fighting for the battlefield going on in those matches. Rebel War Room - Yavin IV is safer and more likely to be ignored by opponent meaning we lock up a lesser advantage, but more often, and will also usually have initiative.

The Poe list vs the Euro Baze list:

Here are my thoughts on the differences. A180 Blaster is costly, but consistent. I probably prefer Rocket Launcher due to its interaction with our battlefield, though it too is costly and you'd never want to see a second one. I feel we want a few 3-cost things for the Imperial Inspection match, but 3 might be too many. Inclined to cut 1x A180.

C-3PO is a card I'm not sure I understand the inclusion of. It's cute, but ultimately might not be a great investment. I consider this cut (esp given how Poe/Maz lists have bailed on it), but if I have missed its genius let me know.

Dug in is a tough call to make. Some decks ignore shields pretty well, and we don't have much to deal with Vibroknife. In other matches (like Poe) the shields are a great deal for 1. I'm inclined to keep this because it's one of the best cards against Poe.

Rocket Launcher I talked about a bit earlier. I like it at 1x; you sometimes want it, you never want two, but it's sometimes great, and if on Rebel War Room - Yavin IV you can resolve it without paying. Good interaction with Emperor's Throne Room - Death Star II too which is a popular enemy battlefield at the moment.

Suppression is a card I like. Removing a 1 Snap die or a pay side you can't use in order to clear an opposing die seems like great value, and it has no target requirement.

Surgical Strike feels too narrow, I think it's right to cut it. We should make some sort of consideration for the Imperial Inspection match, but I don't think this is it. It might also have fought Planetary Uprising, but I doubt a Snap deck needs to care much about PU being good value for the enemy.

Collateral Damage feels like a card better in the decks trying to totally control battlefield. I'd want it if we were on Carbon-freezing Chamber - Bespin, but it doesn't seem crucial on Yavin IV.

Guerrilla Warfare is certainly useful, worth playing if we can find room, but less necessary since Rebel War Room - Yavin IV can be used to resolve Snap's 2nd die you'll usually have in pool as a claim barrier.

Planetary Uprising is good, but something you don't often want to see 2 of. This would be 2x in a deck focused only on claiming, but the philosophy here is to hinder opponent not sell out on the claim strategy entirely, which I think makes 1 copy correct in this build.

Promotion is interesting in that it lets you keep 1 resource to use on pay sides or events, and easily upgrades to something bigger later. Probably worth adding.

Rearm definitely worth adding. Possibly 2, but it's probably better to split 1 Rearm 1 Promotion since they can be used together, but 2 of the same one cannot and would likely clog hand sometimes.

U-Wing is obviously in the list for Poe to throw, useless to us.

So then my current take on modifying the Euro Baze/Snap list is this:

That Something is possibly Guerrilla Warfare or Confidence which would help get a little more pseudo-removal in here. In the comments ArchitectGaming also indicated New Orders and the 2nd Promotion are now in that list, so those are considerations as well. We don't care as much about being on Rebel War Room - Yavin IV as they do about Carbon-freezing Chamber - Bespin though, so I doubt New Orders is the best choice for this deck. Perhaps a 2nd Promotion though.

I've slotted 1x Confidence into the official list because while very situational, its value can easily be higher than the 1 damage offered by Guerrilla Warfare. GW also uses the 2nd Snap die which we can sometimes resolve with Rebel War Room - Yavin IV anyway. Promotion #2 is also an option here, but I feel like both Promotion and Rearm are better at 1 copy because 2 of either one at once is usually bad.
