I'm looking at Mace and Padawan as well, but not sure how it'll play.

Would Bestow work here at all to help move some of those sabers between the two? Considering Padawan get's a discount, you could get her set up with some upgrades and them move them over to Mace when needed.

I also thought Fearless might be good here to give some survivability but also because it could give you decent value early and then allow room to ramp up later.

Overall, I like what I see here and will likely use some of your ideas!

The only problem with Bestow is that it costs one and by the time you get the discount with padawan you've lost the value. I had Fearless in my first draft before I published this but it costs too much and there is enough shields in the dice pool I think.

I am concerned about its ability to play the long game.

@DarthColejoy Right, but you're also missing the fact that you'll be able to roll it out twice with Bestow in one turn. I think there is potential here with the weapon shenanigans and Padawan.

Yeah very true @BrianV. Gonna take out Battle of Wills for Bestow and see how that goes.
