This deck focuses on being 100% blue. I used Kylo Ren and Nightsisters because they naturally lend themselves to all blue decks. The reason to do a one color deck is that cards like No Mercy and The Power of the Force have their maximum effect.

I chose Force Choke, Force Training, Kylo Ren's Lightsaber, Lightsaber, and Mind Probe because they deal a good amount of damage and are blue so they fit with the theme.

Immobilize and Power of the Dark Side as well as Abandon All Hope, Disturbance in the Force, Feel Your Anger, and Mind Trick were chosen to mess with an opponents dice. This keeps their dice pool small for most of the game and keeps them from using damage dice on your relatively weak Nightsisters. Nightsister also works well for removing opponents dice.

Sith Holocron was used because it is a 0 cost and you can switch it with a high cost upgrade like mind probe for free. It Binds All Things was also chosen because it decreases the cost of expensive upgrades.

Finally, the most exciting part about a mono-blue deck is that you can use No Mercy and The Power of the Force to the best of their ability. The Power of the Force is used most effectively at the end of a game. For this deck you can have 9 total upgrades on the table so this card will deal nine damage. Earlier in the game it is still useful but not as much.

At the beginning of a game, No Mercy can be used. Because every card in the deck is a blue card, you can discard your entire hand for a total damage of [4 + the die you chose] (at least 5 damage). Emperor's Favor is used so that you can add a card (or two if both copies are in play) to your hand each turn, making this effect better.

If you discard one of your upgrades while using No Mercy, the battlefield Starship Graveyard will allow you to retrieve it from the discard pile.

This is a fantastic deck that will hold up well against any decks focusing on defense. Its shortcomings mostly come from its lack of other colored cards but this is also its greatest strength. Also, while discarding a possible 7 cards from your hand (with two Emperor's Favor for No Mercy) two turns in a row can be risky (especially against mill decks) the amount of damage output is insane and will kill almost any character instantly.

Emperor's Favor is unique, no two copies allowed. I love mitigation of damage, but you seem missing a couple key tricks that could take this over the top.
1.) Hidden In Shadow / Cheap ability upgrade for keeping a shield on your characters.

2.) Force Throw/ This card is so good. Damage mitigation that inflicts the damage to your opponent. Plus it's cheaper than Mind Probe. Probably better results for you.

I hope this helps

I didn't notice at all that Emperor's Favor is a unique. Thank you!

Hidden In Shadow is a good card but I'm not sure about using it here. It would really only be useful on a Nightsister and I'm not sure if it's worth replacing one of their 3 upgrades. Especially since it only has the potential to add 1 shield total.

Force Throw is a great card and I'm actually not sure how it got missed in this deck. I will definitely look into adding it here. I'm not sure if i would replace Mind Probe but I will certainly look into it.

Love the deck! I do think it could use these tweaks for optimization personally.

Drop one Abandon All Hope and one Mind Trick for 2 Isolation, it's cheaper and always useful vs the previous 2 cards more limited uses. I would also drop both Emperor's Favor for 2 Deflect because the extra cards for a 2 resource cost, just isn't worth it. With no real resource production abilities, this deck won't be putting out multiple cards per turn too often so you're exchanging an immediate useful result for extra potential results that brings you closer to defeat, especially against discard decks. As for Force Throw, you can either drop Mind Probe or add it instead of Deflect. With the Sith Holocron the extra cost isn't too bad. If you don't already know, Sith Holocron is the best current card for Power of the Dark Side since it has a 1/3 chance to roll a blank. Had 2 in my Kylo deck for the prerelease and it did massive amounts of damage. In an environment that looks to have several shield archetypes like Aggro Vader, the unblockable damage is great.

I like your thinking here but I prefer Abandon All Hope and Mind Trick to Isolation simply because they affect your opponent more (even if they have a higher cost).

I do agree with what your saying about discarding cards being dangerous. I don't know know about Deflect because it simply doesn't put out enough damage (especially compared to No Mercy with Emperor's Favor). I do think there are better alternatives to the combo but for now I'm not sure what they are and I'm loving killing characters in one round.

Force Throw I added in my version 2 by dropping one Mind Probe and one Immobilize. Because I didn't feel as if Immobilize was adding very much.

I had no idea about Sith Holocron and Power of the Dark Side working well together but I can definitely understand why they would. I'm very excited to apply Power of the Dark Side to Sith Holocron in future games.
