Hey folks! This is the current list I am running for new Poe right now! This is a super fun deck based around getting out tons of guns. This is not a definitive version and will be updated many more times. It is a good starting point though. Let me know what you guys think I should add/ change!!!

How has this been in testing? I notice you are running Rearguard but only have 6 total dice with the ability to show a shield. Just curious on that and it's a one-of. |

I would consider adding wingman. It lets you go a bit faster. |
I used Hit and Run followed up with It's a Trap! to deliver two killing blows to Cad Bane - Vicious Mercenary in every game. I never used Fortuitous Strike or Rearguard. I didn't see many shields. I'll test more. |

What about adding Rend? Imperial Inspection may be very annoying. Also, I don't know what is better, 2x IQA or 2x A180 :/ Add both will be too much. |

Yes I have. I will test it out more tonight for my local event and post notes for it. It did lose to Crime Lord when playing against Thrawnkar. |
Round 1 Thrawn/Phasma2p No real issues here since the player is fairly new. I did 9 damage on Phasma turn 1. It wasn't pretty. 1-0 Round 2 ePalpatine This game wasn't close but I lost. I was dealing mass amounts of damage. I had to chew through a 7 point Force Illusion and had 9 damage showing on the field but could not roll a non modified damage Die on Poe. He ended up winning. I felt like I should've won the game but poor dice rolls are part of the game. I did learn to not play two Overkill on Poe though. Won't make that mistake again:) 1-1 Round 3 eVader/Phasma2p This matchup between these two decks was critical for testing. Damage output from his deck was tough to deal with. I got Honor Guard late and wasn't able to really use it. Heat Of Battle stayed in my hand and I could never really use it due to his mitigation. In the end I wore him down with Poe. He did go after Rookie Pilot after Rebel Trooper died so I feel that was a mistake. 2-1 Will test more tonight. At times I would have loved an All In because I feel if I had that in the ePalp match I could've won even with poor dice rolls. I think two Heat of Battle may be overkill and Fortuitous Strike is good in theory but it never just puts me ahead. I'm thinking maybe -1 Heat of Battle and -1 Fortutious Strike for +2 All In would make a difference. Your thoughts? |
I might have taken out one of the Poe Blasters too. Sounds like you did pretty decent :) I think that Palp is just overall better this set and he might be a tough match up because the lack of mitigation unfortunately :/ I think you have to try and do as much damage as fast as possible against him turn one and two using it's a trap or heat of battle after he resolves. Can't play the late game/ tons of guns style. |

I'd recommend using Ezra Bridger instead of Rookie Pilot. He gives you access to lots of great yellow cards and still has nice damage output with less blanks.
