Currently testing, any inputs/thoughts would be helpful.

(UPDATE) Ive lost track of the testing but it seems to be going fairly well. I noticed Yoda's Quarter is very helpful for healing when ancients are used up. But a downside is having only x1 Heirloom makes drawing it difficult.

Notes: x2 Heirlooms may be a little much. Looking to switch one of the Heirlooms for a card that can give me shields. Depending on the draw, shields come very slowly or very fast. Resources can be an issue when playing my higher cost weapons.

I play a very similar deck but with 2 yoda's instead of aalya. It kills. Why do you prefer elite aayla over elite yoda?

@wkerlickThe first reason was because of budget, but after testing the deck I realized Aayla is very good for damage, and her special can be very useful for switching an opponents dice to any side which Yoda cant do. I also noticed that people have to make a choice; most people will target Yoda when he is elite, however if I run elite Aayla it makes people choose carefully "should they target the elite Aayla or the annoying Yoda?". Despite Yoda being only 1 he can handle himself pretty well if my opponent starts to 100% target Aayla and my Yoda would be stacked with a force focus or force speed, and two weapons. Ive had games where they destroyed Aayla but afterwards couldn't touch Yoda because of shields and the specials (Obi-wans Lightsaber and/or Hand crafted light bows) would destroy the opponents health. Not to mention the help from temple guard.

I noticed its also a waiting game, who will they pick to focus? Most people choose Yoda so by late game my Aayla can be really stacked with damage plus her own dice to change them to any side. If they end up targeting her instead I begin to equip Yoda and just try to keep Aayla alive as long as I can (Until I can get rid of one of my opponents or until the set up is done)

In short I guess its because it makes my opponent worry on who to focus, and since Yoda can handle himself with just 1, it allows Aayla to handle herself since I feel she wouldnt be too helpful with just 1. If I ran elite Yoda I feel its practically telling my opponent who to focus on the whole game and after he is gone it wuold be hard to continue the game with just 1 dice Aayla since she doesn't have much support to keep her alive.

Let me know what you think of my reasons, im always looking for ways to improve the deck if I made a flawed strategy. Im also curious how well Elite Yoda works for you~

I like it @Jacer. I just pulled a Yoda today. Most of my collecting has focused on blue, so I may give something similar a spin. What do you think of a Padawan instead of the Jedi Temple Guard? Partially because I don't have a guard at the moment, but I really like getting a 3 cost weapon out early on the Padawan.

@Derbulence While padawan is good for early game, I prefer Temple Guard because he is more useful with his guardian. I like to think of it as an Aayla/Yoda deck with Temple Guard being a support on the side to take the damage so that my Aayla and Yoda is safe, plus with Ancients and Yoda's Quarter (which im testing) Its very helpful to heal Temple Guard so that he can just keep taking damage for the other two. I usually don't put upgrades on him besides ancients, force illusion, and heirloom because of its redeploy.
