so, this is a deck that I’ve been tinkering with for the past couple weeks and I’ve play tested about 25-30 games on tts now. The trick is getting the right balance of speed and control. I’ve slowed this down a ton since it’s in-cep, but I find that a tactical mastery or 3-steps at just the right time can swing a game completely.
The premise is simple, low cost upgrades, fixed via Thrawn’s focus and Mothers ability. If you play the control well, you should be able to consistently burst 6 per round with 1 upgrade.
Some of the technique plays I’ve built in include combo playing tact mastery + snare or IWBAM. I added the Ion disruptor to help Thrawn should Mother find an early exit (expect it).
Overall I still think this is probably a tier 2 deck, but when conditions are ideal, I believe it can win against almost anything.
