Really I wish I could edit the deck after posting. Somehow saved an old file of the deck. The deck DOES NOT run Retreat and runs Defensive Position instead.

Had to play 11 games to take the Store Championship, but pulled it off in the end.

But Why Not eLeia/eYoda??? - Because it literally nullifies Leia's power action and you lose A LOT of survivability. Nothing better than loading up Luke with a Force Speed, Scout, and Force Meditation and watching him become a mill machine. Plus it can make your opponent's switch targets, which is really bad idea.

Faced Cad/Snoke, Battle Droids, Kylo2/Pryce, Luke/Rey, eYoda/Annakin/Cassian Mill in Swiss. The last 3 still made it into the top 4 cut so I had to face 2 of them again.

Top 4

eRey2/eLuke3 - Very tough match-up. Super strong ramp and very hard to control their dice if you are not super effective with your mill. He also ran alot of non-damage dice removal to get rid of Leia's dice or force speed special. Ended up winning the first game, lost the second, and took the 3rd.

eKylo2/ePryce - Kylo2 is always terrifying especially if is hitting his calls. This one ran 2 Chance Cube. If you can stop his ramp in his tracks it can really give you the edge. I actually used a Defensive Position to remove one Chance Cube die showing 3 resources first round. Made a huge difference. He took the first game, but I won the next two for 1st place.

eKylo2/ePryce played eYoda/Annakin/Cassian Mill 4 times and went 2-2 total against it. Knocked it out in the semi-finals match.

Notable mentions:

The deck lacks upgrade removal besides Honor Guard and Beguile. Made for some tough decision-making. Debating switching some cards around to get more upgrade removal.

Dex's Diner was absolute MVP in a couple of match-ups. Cad/Snoke took Leia down to 1 life left by round 2. By the time the game was over Leia had only 4 damage left on her.

All Quiet On The Front was an absolutely dead card in most of my damage match-ups but against Mill it is absolutely clutch. Would have won me the game against eYoda/Annakin/Cassian, but unfortunately they were the last 2 out of my 3 cards in my deck. By the time I got to them his deck was gone. By the end of the game both of our hands and decks were gone, but he pulled it off with the BF claim which I could not due to sequencing.

Defensive Position - Great card when it worked (especially against eRey2/eLuke3) but requires careful play to make sure you can claim the battlefield while still getting mill and avoiding too much burst.

Hit and Run into Commando Raid was so ridiculously good. Average 2-4 cards. Completely wrecked my opponents.

Luke Skywalker's Lightning Rod was a fringe choice but was excellent in damage match-ups. 4 Sides with shields and using it for a double focus with C-3PO was incredible.

Flames of the Past - I honestly am not a huge fan of this card. It's obviously a great way to remove a pesky upgrade (I'm looking at you Ancient Lightsaber) or a support, but the amount of times I actually could get this off for an effective turn was pretty slim. Most of the time resources are so tight it ends up being between this or a clutch removal card, which removal always wins. You have enough tricks to get rid of an ancient. If anything I would switch this for more removal or Secret Mission if you are worried about Ancient Lightsaber. However, I was always able to beat out the Ancient Lightsaber recycle with careful sequencing. I would probably drop this card in the future.

Message me if you have any other questions.

I don’t see defensive position in the list....
