I personally hate the fact that Luke is not used for abilities yet so I have tried to make a competitive deck that exploits not just his super consistent die but his power action as well. With his ability he can turn a deck with force abilities into a crazy ramp.

The optimal situation is opening the game with (mulligan hard up to all cards for Makashi/Force Training in opening hand, it's why Stolen Intel is the plot):

Do not underestimate Force Training. Three damage sides and one of them also can give a money or a shield. Can't work in many decks but it works here. I have rolled it on Luke and got a damage and money to move and overwrite with Dagger of Mortis in the first round which is pretty awesome.

That's the basic engine. If you wanted your nut draw it would be rounded out with maybe a Force Speed, Hidden Motive, and a useless card for re-roll or Synchronicity/ Binds all things if you can pull it off in the round (actually tougher in this deck and I consider Synchronicity on the bubble).

Put Makashi on Luke, roll out and resolve the Makashi die with a Luke die and move it over to Aayla and roll out. Then you overwrite Makashi with a 2 or three drop either at end of round or beginning of round two then use Luke's training to reuse Makashi and repeat the process.

This may not seem that powerful of a play but I assure you it is as getting 8+ damage each round is a strong enough possibility. The reason is at the end of round two you have used 5 upgrade dice because of Luke's ability as opposed to three and it hasn't costed you extra resources. It is an insane ramp along the lines of Plo Padawans but with much more consistency. Luke and Aayla's dice are basically the same: 1dmg, 2dmg, 2dmg, resource, focus. All upgrades have 3 damage sides except for Force Speed and Force Healing. This means you can usually get away with re-rolling only once if that much in a round and you can aggro very hard at the onset.

Try out the deck. I am having a lot of fun and was very close in a Kylo and vehicles matchup. I believe I can get the deck tweaked to beat Kylo Consistently if I get the shields but three wide vehicles will be tough. I took Yoda down the beginning of turn 2 and still couldn't pull it off. Seems decent against mill because consistency of damage sides and not having to re-roll.

Would love input to make it more competitive.

Cards I believe are on the bubble:

  • It Binds All Things It's great when it come's early but it's not crucial to the deck and I think there may be a better card I haven't found yet.
  • Synchronicity (I will keep it unless I can find another damage form hand card)
  • Force Heal Just there to fill a spot for an ability so I can use move and overwrite, hopefully with a crafted saber.
  • Force Throw I hate the sides but I like the 3/6 damage side compared to Force Push. I am highly considering testing an extra crafted saber instead.
  • All mitigation is interchangeable. Pacify is there because I want to focus on getting consistent high damage the first two rounds.
  • Weapons can be messed with. Crafted Lightsaber is actually pretty strong if you can overwrite a force ability at the end of a turn and then use Luke's Training to bring it back.

Currently am trying second Crafted Lightsaber over Force Throw to use for overwriting at the end of the round and startingt he next turn with a stronger damage upgrade.
