This deck was an experiment that has turned out to be a ton of fun! I have been wanting to find a way to utilize Qi'Ra - Street Savvy outside of what I've already seen. Savage Opress - Reckless Warrior was another character that I had been hoping to find a home for, and they seemed like a fun thematic odd couple. Both of them have been minions of warlords, Sith, and gangsters that rose up to rebel against their masters. This build is already a bit refined from my original design, and I have thoughts about the next build that I will include at the bottom. But, enough about all that, on to the deck!

Let's start with the downside, Savage's activation will always be the first action you take. This will affect your tempo and leave you open to initial removal. To offset this, we have included Crafted Lightsaber. Since you can't even attach this before the character is exhausted, its a good thing to pull out. Crafted Lightsaber is also very helpful for resolving Qi'Ra's +2 sides. The resource sides can also be used with Bait and Switch to either get some cash when you have 2 +2 sides showing, or to pull out some range damage.

Theed Royal Palace - Naboo is being played because duh, its in everything. But more importantly, with Qi'Ra it gives you a dollar and let's you recover some of the economy lost from Savage's activation. With each character having a 3 or with a pay side, you will be hungry for resources during the game. Theed will help with that, and your high value character dice give you a great shot at taking the battlefield. Now, let's get into all the combo potential this deck has.

Déjà Vu is the bread an butter of this deck. You should be milling for it in your opening hand. You have 20 events, and this will give you so many offensive and defensive options. Not to mention the real MVP turn 1 combo Friends in High Places. With Deja Vu and Friends I've been able to get 2 upgrades out on Savage or Qi'ra in the first round. The Theed money can then be used to either pay for a damage side, or a specific removal.

Once you have Savage ready to deal more damage with upgrades, its time to get creative with the event combos Qi'Ra opens up. Slice And Dice is a beast for dealing big unblockable swings, also for getting damage spread out on each character (big when fighting 3 wide). Next you want to play Act Of Cruelty. While this card is less exciting by itself, with Deja Vu it becomes pay 2 to deal 2 damage to each wounded character. As a bonus, if an opponent loses a character you can begin discarding.

Speaking of discarding, this deck is primary with a healthy amount of thrown in. Depending on the match up this can be very helpful, but with Rebel you also can repeat any previously effective combo.

I ran this against a few things at home, and while it couldn't take Darth Vader - Terror To Behold, it was very good in other match ups.

As for changes I would make, the Deja Vu + Friends combo is very good, and also seems to make Lightsaber Pull less needed. While I do not own a Darksaber I could easily see those being worthwhile. Maul's Lightsaber or Darth Vader's Lightsaber Could also be good.
