Finding a good deck for regio wasn't such an easy piece of cake for me. I do not like to play meta and love building decks on my own. I was testing this one for a month probably and still was doubting it's power till late night before the event. I knew i was well prepared. I had great sparing partners : vader/greedo, leia/yoda, han/qira beckett/ciena.A special thanks to my girlfriend and her Beckett/Ciena deck, playing with me day after day testing any possible changes. Overall everything in this deck if filling other weaknesses. Piett has a synergy with Stormtrooper and podracers, Aphra with droids. You are guarantee that hailfire will come turn one even with bad mulligan. Let's go into the matchups :

Round 1 Marta (i think) Qui Gon/Yoda BR

I was a little bit worried to play against a shield matchup. Steadfast came in first round but then nothing really happens. I played all my droids and successfully remove all dmg sides, killling yoda in the second turn, 1-0

Round 2 TACOS

A player was a young son of Marta with whom I played the first round. He pushed me really hard to my limits killing Fost 1st round. I didnt have any removal on an opening hand but i manage to put all my droids into the play ale finish one mando and talzin in the end of 3rd turn I guess. I was left on 4 hp on aphra ... pretty close one 2-0

Round 3 Wojtek CH Dooku/Talzin

I was scared becuase I have never win with Dooku/Talzin during my testing, but my opponent didnt play an upgrage till 4th turn so i had fully control over the game. 3-0

Round 4 Teo Vader/Greedo

Finally the matchup everybody has to face in current meta. From four 3-0 players 3 of them was Vader/Greedo. Last round my opponent demolish another vader killing him in 1st turn!!! That is quite an achievment. The game started prette well for me . Just one dmg dealt from terror to behold felt great. We were going toe to toe and I lost due to my reroll from discard to resource on 0-0-0. My opponent after first reroll didnt hit any dmg and then discard would be necessary. Unfortunately the second reroll dispelled all my dreams about winning this one. Vader was let on 3 or 4 health. Teo then went 1st in swiss with 5-1 losing to another vader in last round. Damn close 3-1

Round 5 Miki "..." Han/Qira

Finally we met near the end of swiss round. My teammate and partner in testings mostly again HQ matchup. We both know each other decks. Unfortunately he rolls poorly and I had to play Podracer from armored reinforcement turn 3 becuase everything else was already on the board. Game from start under my control. Miki won all tournament so once more huge congrats to him. So I went into last round with 4-1 Score.

Round 6 Staś Vader/Greedo

Brother of a player who played tacos in my second game. This time i had even better start against Vader killing Greedo turn one making him unabled to use price of failure. My deck 85% of time has everything on board in 3rd round cos vader was taking all indirect it can. Game won at peace. 5-1

So I did it! I end Swiss in second place after Teo's vader/greedo. Now was time to start top 8! Unfortunately we had a short amount of time so top 8 was in best of 1 system.

TOP 8 Wojtek Ch Dooku/Tazlin

We met again. I knew i can handle it. Now he played ancient lightsaber turn one and I didnt manage to get 0-0-0 into the board untill round 4 with 10 cards left. Hailfire, bt-1 and podracers were fighting along my side till the end. Lost due to tech card - Unyielding making 2x dooku's 3 for res unblockable killing aphra even with her shields, i played all my crash landings, dangerous manuevers and by any means without 0-0-0 on table. Unfortunately the system best of 1 made lose in top 8 after this game.

Overall I am happy with the result. I manage to build a good deck on my own and show his pottential onto the bigger tournament. Top 8 was a some kind of minimum necessary for me and it worked out pretty well.
